I think the over is a safe bet in this one. I see a score coming on special teams and great starting field position on both ends. I don't believe the weather to be a factor unless there is precipitation. Large play on the over, small play on the saints, the just have more ability to score.

I don't know where people are getting their forcasts from, but gametime will be near 0. I've heard some say light to no wind, that does not happen in the winter at Soldier Field. Lake effect winds Chicago in Dec. = wind chills below zero. Saints will not be able to put up many points. Bears 2u, Under 3u & 2 teamer 1 unit.

Too late for me to change my mind but interested in what it is. Like I stated earlier I'm not banking on the cold weather factor for the total just thinking the Saints & Bears will utilize their strength in their running game and play conservative. Too much at stake for both teams to make costly mistakes in this game.

i hear ya with that logic, but keep in mind that both team are bad vs the pass. with the saints being a passing team - and the bears stout vs the run, i cant see the saints running much unless they build a double digit lead early. the bears will feed forte, but will likely also look to exploit the saints poor secondary.

When the lights are brightest, the playmakers shine. Everybody makes valid points on both sides for this game. What i'm looking for is a difference maker. Somebody who will make something happen that will propel momentum and their team to a victory. In this one, look no further than Reggie Bush. Thursday night, nothing else to watch, and Reg will come to play. Watch for something dynamic. These next few weeks will be a sprint between the Saints and Cowboys to see who will grab the final playoff spot. It's going to be fun to watch

Hi all, I Think this game will come down to which team will take good care of the ball and not turn the ball over.. The weather will be a factor but not much, just cold and the wind is about 10 mph. N.O should be prepare for the weather tonigh. So that won't bother brees passing game.. The Bears plays good D at home, safe bet will be the over.. and Bears will win by 3... possible could be a push for tonigh game..
