This line is on the move to 3.5 already at some books, and the move should continue with all the $$ on NE. I think SF wins straight up here. Moss is dogging it. SF can shut down NE's running game. Should be a lower scoring affair I might like the under too.  SF is an excellent teaser candidate too, even though they're not in the traditional strike zone.

NE will force at least two turnovers, and they will lead to scoring.  The Niners are still 'a work in progress'.  While the Patriots aren't the team they were six months ago; they likely have the better team chemistry.  SF has yet to lose two games in a row, it's probably about time that this happened.

NE has proven that its able to be run all over with miami going crazy on them. Martz is gonna run the show and the niners will win. NE is goin down the drain this season..bad karma

sure Pats could be rested & pissed off... BUT maybe, just maybe:  the Pats never really recover from the Mia   loss / debacle... thats my hunch = goin SF $Line,  with a balanced offensive/ball control game... 
 
 somehow, this is SFs' superbowl game....(week5 lol)... i can see them mysteriously gettin up for this game.......  i just hope NE doesn't come out like the BradyBunch fluke squad of 07...  if so i'm gettin Crushed  31 - 9...lol

Huge pats fan here in Boston and I'm staying away from this game.
 
Belichik has been kicking the pats asses for the last 2 weeks so I can't see them losing following that MIA horror show and a bye week, but Moss is mailing it in and Frank Gore will run all over our D.  ANd Matt Cassell is in a competition with Eric Gagne for worst athlete to ever don a Boston/New England uniform.  The kid is brutal, that game was over last week when he threw a pick to a D Tackle.

San Fran +3. O Sullivan will have a great game against a secondry chad penningotn picked apart. Add the fact that the game is across country and ill glady take the home team and 3 points.

O boy o boy......o man..... i have been waiting a year and a half to build my bankroll to bet it on the niners. Its just the way it is NIners have been planning an assault for this game this whole time. Steve Young is going to throw for at least 400 yards....got em baby Niners + 3.......hehehe

actually, theres no real reason to bet the 49'ers here...  their best looking game -was against the porous & diahrrea Det defense... that game made SF look good, & then the next week they were cut back down to reality... plus the Pats are pissed & rested...  but, its so obvious how overrated SF is, that nobody in their rite mind would bet them only at +3.... what good does +3 & home field do ya, when its 27-9 pats-  4th Q ....
 
but, its gunna be a "dog day-afternoon".... and i agree with parlaymaster  ^    i'll take Steve Young over Tony Eason, anyday...hehe

It's funny that y'all mentioned Steve Young, because the Niners will be retiring his jersey before the game.

I felt a lil' funny about backing the Pats and now I see why, b/c they're going to lose.

Defense wins games.  The Pats have the MUCH better defense, especially after watching approximately 237 hours of game tape the past two weeks.  Belicheck just doesn't lose after a bye week, and the 49ers still have a rookie quarterback and an unproven team overall.  Pats will take this one by 10+

Right the MUCH better defense. The one that gave up almost 200 yards on the ground vs. MIAMI. They can be run on, Martz will incorporate it and also be throwing downfield. And the D is gonna get all over cassel
