Hope everyone received their early x-mas gift with da bears on mnf.

Well if you missed out, you can make up with a late x-mas gift for snf

    EAGLES

Don't try to be cute again with Minny and how joe webb could be flynn of GB, and how good their Defense, blah, blah, blah... this team already wrapped it up for the season long ago.  And joe webb, well he looks like a UAB WR trying to play QB in the NFL.

Toby Gerhart or Peterson, both are hard to tackle vs a defense that doesnt tackle anyone. Also I think the Rice vs Patterson matchup could be a blood bath as well. Cant see the Eagles losing but I think Viks stay within 14. Vikings +14

If the Bears & Giants win out win that means the Eagles get the Giants at home week 18. Eagles better work on your trick plays.

Could the Eagles lose their last 2? Favre not ruled out yet.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

First Eagles lose Hobbs at corner, now Nate Allen at FS.  Doubt Joe Webb can exploit this weakness too much, but maybe enough to keep within the number.  However, in the playoffs be ready to see the Philly pass defense struggle mightily against strong passing teams....which the NFC is loaded with in regards to playoff teams.

    Philadelphia - 30                                Minnesota - 17

    Vikings +14                                     under 41.5

Eagles certainly has owned the Vikings (10-1 ats last 11)

    (6 - 0 ats) last 6 at home.

    Stupid is as stupid does.

    Vikings - Under

Forecast currently is calling for anywhere from 12 to 18 inches of snow along with blizzard conditions in the late afternoon into evening in the Philly/Metro area.  All in all not going to be fan friendly conditions.

Good luck to all, I'm going to wait and see how things shape up closer to kick off.

    Merry Christmas

    i see philadelphia winning big
    my predicted score: Philadelphia-41     Minnesota-10
reason why: Philadelphia is too explosive for the Minnesota defense, and by Philadelphia i mean Desean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Lesean McCoy, and of course Micheal Vick (my MVP of the year. If not, then comeback player of the year) speaking of micheal vick, no defense in the NFL can stop Vick. Green Bay won but that couldve been a blowout if Vick didnt step onto that field. Giants had two times to prepare for Vick and couldnt do it. Washington got lucky that Vick was injured that first time, but Vick came up huge in the second game, so Washington couldnt do it. Freeney and Mathis along with the Colts couldnt do it. Dallas couldnt do it. Chicago gave up 333 passing yards to Vick, even though that game looked messy.

and i still dont get why people are going to take Vikings after all the great defenses Vick has humiliated.

if you stop vick from running, he'll throw it. You try to get pressure on him, he'll burn you with a 20-30 yard run.

SO WHO CAN STOP MICHEAL VICK?!?!?!
    answer to that question: NOBODY
these reasons are also why he should be MVP.

also, Jason Avant, Brent Celek, Riley Cooper, and Owen Schmitt. Give credit to them also, Especially Jason Avant, the sure hands on this team and in my opinion, the NFL. He is the go to guy on third down, along with Jeremy Maclin, and Brent Celek. As for the red zone offense, eagles should always go with a four reciever set (Desean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Jason Avant, and Riley Cooper) and Lesean McCoy in the backfield and just work the passing situation. McCoy run the out route, Cooper run the fade, Avant in the middle, with Jackson and Maclin crossing. if nobodys open, vick should take it in himself.

    PHILADELPHIA EAGLES!!!!!!!

Not even the patriots would be able to stop us. But thats one superbowl i would LOVE to see. Both offenses can score high, and both defenses are capable of coming up with turnovers. Evenly matched superbowl possiblity.

i will be back every week to give insights on games, just ask questions and ill give my opinions and you can follow them if you want to.

Well I can't lay 'em and I can't take 'em (the pts) and since I surely can't pass on the last game of the evening obviously I have to take the high I guess. I mean well lookit the Vikes gave up 40 to the Bears on that skating rink Monday so just maybe some pts can be scored again even in a Winter Wonderland then? Hope so anyway -- VER     BOLA!!

Hey, you all know I'm an Eagles fan!!  E-A-G-L-E-S.....EAGLES!!!!

But, I try to keep it like Troy Aikman doing a Dallas game.  Yes, Vick is sick, but so is the Eagles secondary.  They have been shredded for the past month and Samuel isn't 100%.  While he is an awesome game changer with the picks and TD returns after he does in his career......he isn't a lock down corner......N. O. and Atlanta could really do harm in the playoffs(yes I know we kicked Atlanta in the balls by 3 td's earlier this season).  Our line play is a little suspect also.  Philly NEEDS THE BIG PLAY TO PLAY THEIR KIND OF BALL!!   If they don't get the plays, they can look like they did against the Giants for three quarters last week.

All that being said, they will destroy a team that has basically quit on Sunday night.  The Minny secondary is far, far worse.  They quit in the second half of the game in the cold in their home state last week.  When the snow and wind blow and Philly has a two TD lead in the 3rd quarter......it will turn into a divisional winning party in Philly late night with a blizzard raging!!!  It will be a sight to behold I believe.  And Minny won't want to do anything but go home.  Joe Webb???  C'mon man..........

They should mobe the game to Monday. Snow is one thing but blizzard conditions is a different animal. The city will be in a snow emergency so why put all the fans through dangerous travel. wouldn't shock me if game is ppd. Maybe bet the over and hope game gets pushed back??
