i didn't say he'd run a buck 50 on the steelers D...i did say he should be enough of a factor to change the game up a bit...anything can happen, just like the fins/ne game last year...

Yeah sure, especially against Steelers' defense which ranked the 1st in the leauge and the 3rd in rushing defense.  *shrug*

something to consider, the dolphins have only lost by more than 16 points 3 times this year.  dallas and new england being 2 of those teams, both are superior to the steelers.  i'm leaning to the phins on a small play.

Rain didn't hinder Pitt/Baltimore game at Heinz on MNF a few wks back, I don't think it will this time either, but we never know.

I'm leaning on the over, was looking good yesterday then lost almost entire bankroll on Denver, NE, and NE over 2nd half on emotional bet

Really do not want to play this game, but i am just down too much. W. Parker is chasing records and Williams will try to show that he can still play. Rain may hamper D on both ends and open up running game?

I am laying a small poirtion of my massive Philly winnings on the Steelers. They shut out the Seahwkas 21-0 without Holmes and ward and Casey Hampton. Polamalu will be missed, sure, but his impact thgis year has been more from an opponets planning perspective, not big plays. So the Steelers can cover up for him against a team like the hapless Fish. Ward, Washington, Cedric Wilson, and Heath Miller give Ben plenty of options in the air, and I see Parker having a good night against the aging defense still led by the same guys as always with not much around them. As usual I qualify my Steeler picks with the fact they are my team for decades, that said I am up several g's just on them this year despite last week's debacle. I see them squeaking this out by 17 or 21 for a small cover, if the field was dry it would be by 35 or more like the Baltimore game at half time, 35-7 at the half, and going up. Great Monday Night record also, which actually means something when it goes on that long.  Thoughts on the game anyone? Good luck all.

I took out a very very small prop bet on this game.  PITT to win by margin of 6-10 points.  Pays +800.   Good luck all...  Pitt is 12-0 their last dozen games on MNF.  After gagging last week, hard to go against them here.

First, NICE ASS!

 

Ricky Williams won't change the Steelers game plan and Beck can want to show up on MFN but that won't help in his second start against the #1 D in the NFL. His 40 QB rating may even go down.

Pitt has won and covered the week after their first two losses and my opinion is that they cover again tonight. 

Miami D has not been that bad so this may be an under.

Good luck Fins backers, you will have your ass handed to you tonight.

A pissed off pittsburgh at home.......They definitely wont lose but will they cover? RW.....was never really impressed with him from the beginning......too much hype.....almost like a herschel walker.....you think other players are shaking in their boots about this guy.....he is a gift for Pitt fans to heckel.....Miami aching for a win......16 points is alot......The over should be the play here.....or no play.....after this weekend.....it's a tough call anywhich way you look at it. SF beating AZ.....GIANT blowout....Feely and eagles.......St Louis choke......Garcia out....TB.....Hard to imagine Miami with an Offense......then again......was hard to imagine Eagles with one too......

Very wet field no Troy PITT should win this one I just don't think they will cover and why is everyone making such a big deal over Ricky that guy is not in game shape and should be a no factor (JMO) after the 1st  1/4 that guy is going to be bending over with his hands on his knees panting out of breath and maybe cough one up PITT wins by 10

guys what do you think of these bets i am leaning on taking Pitt by 13-18 and Pitt by 19-24 they give a combined odd of +230...seems good to me but waiting other thoughts on that

I am well aware of why bookies love teasers...I just decided to play it safer since I wasn't sure the favorite could cover by that much...mainly I do it for the over/under to get it to a more reasonable number.  Tonight is a game between a great running team (Pittsburgh) and a horrible run defense (Miami).  Miami is even more hurting than they have been somehow as I believe they are down to their 7th string practice squad junior varsity running back.  It's going to be rainy and crappy allll night in Pittsburgh, so throwing the ball will not be much of an option, not that it really was with these two teams.  Since I obviously have not learned my lesson on Monday night teasers...I am going to TEASE Pittsburgh down to -6 ( if they lose this game or if they allow Miami to keep it within a touchdown, they just are not as good as everyone is saying ) and take the UNDER 49.5 (rainy weather on Monday night just doesn't bode well for scoring, especially with a lame duck offense in Miami)
