I am disappointed in SNF - major loss on game and the 2nd half. Don't really want to play MNF but will probably do so. I was at first leaning on Miami, but Zach Thomas is still out - Beck was 9/22 and 109 yds last game - only TD was defense in last game against Philly.

My only concern is the weather: high chance of RAIN, though that can be good or bad (e.g. baltimore game at Heinz field a few wks earlier was a blowout, mainly due to turnovers). Tomlin should have forced hell on them this wk for losing to Jets last wk. Blowout?

Esp after Philly's play tonight - Undecided

*PITTSBURGH 35 - Miami 10—Willie Parker (925 YR) is making no secret of the fact he’s after the rushing title now that Adrian Peterson’s injury has opened the door. And Ben Roethlisberger (23 TDs, only 8 ints.) is close to his Super Bowl form after LY’s injuries. The Dolphins might activate Ricky Williams for this game. But Williams or no, rookie QB John Beck is likely to be plenty mystified by Pittsburgh’s array of zone blitzes. Just a couple of turnovers might help the Steelers (4-1 vs. the spread at home) bounce back with a vengeance after last week’s “soft” performance visiting the Jets.

Another road game = another loss to a lousy team (NYJ)
Spread is pretty high, but just got a feeling that PITT will get back on track and dominate just like the last Monday Nighter against Baltimore.

Okay all you morons taking the fish are idiots.Steelers will roll in this one. They are a much better teamespecially athome. The jets game wasonly vlose because the jets/steelers gamesarealways tough especially when played in Meadowlands. Steelersroll with a steady run and good passing game. Also RICKY WILLIAMS stinks shouldgo somewhere and smoke more weed, IDIOTS.

Steeler without troy polomalamalanonono which i think should make a big difference in their secondary and pass rush.    Steelers o-line is coming off a game where they gave up 7 sacks to the JETS?!  Miami ranked near the bottom of points allowed and last in rush defense.  Hopefully there will be a lot of points put up, or atleast enough to cover the total

WHAT?  last i i heard of Ricky Williams, he was gettin handled in the CFL.  so what makes you think after a long vacation from the NFL and football in general, he's gonna come in and all of the sudden run all over the Steelers?   a homer from MIA would not even make such comments.  some people should just be refrained from talking in general.

I think I like Steelers giving the 16 at home I think its a tough number, so I am thinking of teasing down to -10 and under 46? I am not sure why everyone is thinking this game is going to go over history shows these games stay low scoring. The Fins don't score points and have the rook starting at QB. The steelers have one of the best defenses and it appears it will be cold and rainy? To me this means passing won't be quite as efficient and both teams will play more run heavy and not go for too much long?

From a personnel standpoint, this game looks like a 20+ pt victory for Pitt. It's hard for me to imagine Miami getting in the endzone even one time.
 
But, I'm going to put some weight on the fact that Miami will be emotionally up for every game they enter with zero wins to their credit. For this reason, I'm going to say that Miami will only give up one long offensive drive for a TD in the game.
 
So, I'm going to say that Pitt will get one TD on purely offense, and maybe another TD off of a turnover / short field. Miami won't get a single TD in the game.
 
The final score will be 20-6.
 
I'm staying off of this game, but my play would be to tease Pitt down to 10 or under, in combo with a Sunday game. Of course, that can't be done today. My straight up play would be Miami +16, although I would not and will not make that bet.

Well, for the 4th straight MNF we get treated to a crap fest. Bad team with Miami, significant injuries for Pittsburgh, bad weather, ridiculous point spread, Tony Kornheiser. I'm very tempted to just leave this one alone. I'm going to play an angle here -

Can I get 14 from Miami? They only managed 7 against the Eagles. Polamalu being out will really shake up the Steelers defense, and Beck should be able to have some success. If I can get 13 points from the Dolphins the worst that happens is a split.
I think the Fish get inside this number, but by no means is this a strong play for me.

I kicked A$$ on college this weekend 9-1 only to lose it ALL back on Sunday 1-5. I SUCKED on NFL this week. My Niners actually WON a game! Worlds are colliding, dogs and cats living together.
 
I just don't know anymore.

I went 11-4 Saturday, kicked ass at 1pm Sunday, lost all three sides at 4pm, hit last nights game & total but missed a big payoff with the Philly ML. I came out of the week ahead and still don't know how I didn't crush the bookie, or how he didn't crush me.

According to the Miama Harold, not only will Ricky Williams play tonight, but he will start.  Call me crazy, but I think if nothing else this will be enough of a distraction on the field for the sickly Fins to keep it within 14.

true...he may have been handled in the cfl, and it may be a long vacation,  but it's enough of a distraction, along with polamaloluoloo being banged up, to make a big difference in the way the gameplan is written up.  along with beck wanting to show up on mnf, it may be motivation enough....douche bag.  some people should just refrain from talking s.h.i.t.
