I agree Scorpio, trends in the NFL these days are basically useless. Tough game to call; I think Herm will try extra hard to win this game(will play starters most of first half) (wants to set winning tone for young players) Huard good QB;Croyle is basically a rookie-injury last year. Dolphins travelling after game just 5 days. I do think Green will play better than last week. Like Fins personnel better; Chiefs players so young. Everything said I can't say the Chiefs will cover. Fins cover- Chiefs win game.

I'm with you on KC also....Arrowhead is tuff place to play.....I dont think the short week will play much of an impact since everyone plays about a quarter or half.

I LIVE IN CLEVELAND AND SAW HOW BAD KC'S OFFENSE IS W/O LJ.  JOHNSON IS STILL OUT AND IF THE BROWNS OFFENSE CAN SCORE ON THEM, HUNGRY TRENT GREEN WILL BRING A WIN IN KC, JUST NOT IN A CHIEFS UNIFORM .

Fins/Chiefs I'll take the over someone has to win and neither team has promising trends heading into this game.  Everyone is quick to pick out the fact that the Chiefs are horrible at covering a small spread 0-4.5.  However it seams that we are over looking the Miami trends as well.  Trends going into tonights game are like this.
 
Miami 3-9-1 past 13 favored by 4 or less
KC is 3-8 ATS in thier last 11 when favored by 4 or less.
 
So what trends am I using to pick the over 33.5, its simple Chiefs are still clueless as to whom is gonna start the season at quarterback and waiting for someone to win the job.  Therefore, I look for Herm to employ the air attack alot, more than what he otherwise might.  Dolphins secondary is still a question mark which will make it a little easier for the Chiefs.  Trent Green will be sharp as it is his homecoming of sorts. 20-17 would be my guess.
 
Dolphins + pts and the over 33.5 parlay is probably be my angel on this game.

KC is the hardest place to play... but if anyone can go in there and play its trent green. i have to imagine he wants to and is going to play better tonight than he did last week. jax defense is a bit of a struggle in itself. i like mia in the first half. once green comes out i don't see Lemon or Beck having too much success. I think KC-3 for the game is the best pick. plus herm edwards is gonna want a win here at home

Whats up all? I am really torn with this matchup, I posted on Monday night that I really liked the under 34.5 and probably should jump on it, because I thought the line would drop to 33-33.5 and it did drop. The reason I liked the under was simply because of Miami's D, and KC has had problems on Offense. I know Green struggled last game and will he be able to get anything going tonight surely an NFL QB can complete more than 5 passes for under 50 YRDS right? I don't know especially against his buddies and the ruff Mia fans booing in his ear for playing so badly. I still have not made a decision with this match yet, once again I am leaning on under and Mia however questioning both Leans still reading and have'nt found my way yet so just wanted to post my leans just in case didn't have time to post. It's funny it seems like the better my record the more careful I am. And with my 1st week going 12-2 I almost want to pass this game up, but we are all gamblers right?

Good Luck all too tough of a game to cap I really like Mia +3.5 and under 33 however cappers that I really respect have good arguments to go the other way, this is the toughest game I have had to cap this preseason. With that said I will not play game however I will play 1H and maybe 2H

It's half-time and I hit KC -1.5 for the half...
 
Taking KC -.5 for the second half...I think Miami will be hard-pressed to score in the second half, blueglass...your under 39 looks solid but I am unsure of Miami +9....Beck is a rookie and don't know if he will have a lot of success...good luck, my friend!

Congrats to those who had the Fins +3 (and +9)! 
Miami got it done late on Beck's good throws and KC's back-up porous defense! Medlock's 2 missed FG's and Coyle's red zone pick hurt my cause but that is all in the past now!
 
I hit my first-half bets and my teaser at +3 so I will win a little bit if Carolina comes within nine points tomorrow night!
