I was at the KC - Tenn. game last week.  Wow, the Chiefs really ARE that bad.  Their defense basically gave up in the second half and let the Titans running game pound the ball so far up their ass it was sad.  That defense flat out gave up and that's what really troubles me about this team right now.  No way could I bet a KC team right now, even getting 13 points.  The only thing worth noting here is Edwards going against his old team.  So what if LJ plays this week, he has more off-field distractions and the Jets suprisingly rank 4th in YPG against the run, so Primetime22, you better be figuring on alotta scoring by the Jets to hit that over.  Maybe a similar point total to the Arizona game a few weeks back.  Anyways, that's my rant, best of luck to everyone

My Chiefs are one of the worst NFL teams in recent memory.  Peterson should have been fired 7 or 8 years ago.  Would like to see Herm get 1 more year.  More of the same this week.

This game is going to suck- first to 20 wins. KC will have trouble scoring with the QB/RB issues against the Jets defense at home. Wouldn't be surprised if they put up 10 through special teams, turnovers, etc..which might cover this huge #.
Jets looked inconsistant in OAK- having all sorts of trouble scoring. Not so much moving the ball but scoring. Their offense should simplify it going heavy on the ground shoving the ball down KC's throat. Tick...Tock...Tick

I just hope that the Chiefs don't sell out some home games this year so they get blacked out around here. I'm sorry I watch this garbage product that they call "rebuilding." REBUILDING! Try getting fucking worse. It's a sad day in Chiefs land.
I heard today we have talked to Culpepper. Don't want him. All he would accomplish is win one or 2 more games for us this year and maybe cost us Stafford and the number 1 overall pick (this assumes that Detroit actually wins a game). Carl Peterson's contract is done after this year, and I can't possibly see how the Hunt's bring him back. Sad sad days in Chiefs land.
That being said, I would never ever lay double digits in the NFL. Can't bet on the Chiefs though. Pass

Well you KC fans would love to have Stafford but he might not come out this year. If he does that will be a great thing for you guys.

Chiefs +13 Keep taking the double digit dogs. They are having no problem covering this year. I'm a Jet's fan, and have watched every game this year. The Jets don't beat up on teams. Their only blowout was against AZ who were clearly feeling the East coast travel and brought absolutely nothing in the first half. In the second half they actually looked better than the Jets. 13 is way too many points in this game. I see the Jets winning this 20-14 or something along those line.

Double digit dogs = $$$ in 2008. Watch the line this week. 14+ would be even better. Either way, this is week 8's best bet on the board in my opinion.

I probably need my head examined, with this pick.  However, I am giving the points.  All 14 of them.  Why?  Although the weather forecast predicts a "breezy" day, I believe in Favre's abilities to play in such conditions.  Greenbay has consistently crappy weather and he still put up monster numbers there with the Packers.

Also, the Jets have some talented players that can and will run the ball.  The Chiefs run defense is one of if not 'the' worst in the NFL.  Following that OT loss, New York will be getting at 'em with both barrels this Sunday.

I have been on a role with Cheifs games this year. Picked the straight up win against Denver and blowouts against Carolina and Tenn. I've been going with my feeling of the games mostly. I took them against Denver because of the situation, Denver came off two hard-faught narrow victories and obviosly had a terrible defense. I knew they would overlook the Chiefs at home. I know without a doubt that this Cheifs team is absolutely awful! I begged everyone to take Carolina and Tenn. telling them they would get killed. But, I don't think Jets will cover here. I don't think it will ever look like a blowout. I don't think the jets have a team that can blow teams out. This will be a game that lulls you to sleep...like the Raider's game. First of all anytime you have Herm running your team...Yawn city! This will be a boring..low scoring...crapper of a game. And dare I say it...Cheifs might win. That's right! I really don't see how so many people are on the OVER. Hmmm. Go Cheifs! One of my favorite picks this week. With the BALTIMORE UNDER.

OVER Play of the day maybe play of the year. Pro lines dont get very high on these totals unless the teams always put up alot of points..... In my opinion this is way to low...

ugly game. under sounds pretty good to me.

kc and jets are pretty banged up. i like kc plus the points but faRve scares me...scares me as much as how the cowboys are -1.5 against TB.
