     An easy win and cover for the Jaguars! Especially if Garrard "loosens" things up with the passing game, before pounding the rock! The Titans have packed it in weeks ago! Fisher might be gone, at seasons end!

1)   Vince Young is starting.  nuff said.  VY has been waiting a LONG time.  maybe he can dink and dunk his way to a win.  also, history shows just the action of changing qbs can potentially change fortunes.  I'm not saying VY is good, he probably still sucks, I'm just saying..change is good...sorta like getting fresh new undies if you've been homeless and pissin on yourself for a while. even the lil things are good at that point

 

2)  u just said that Jax beat them earlier this year.  FACT:  when 2 teams in the same nfl div play each other, the loser of the first matchup normally wins over 60% of the time.  not an opinion..but a FACT.  I'm not saying bet the farm on this game...not by any means.   Personally, I'm staying away. 

 

but if I was forced at gun point to pick a winnner winner chicken dinner...uh, I would take Tenn straight up, and Tenn to cover -3.  Personally, I like the over under a lil better.  with Under 45.  Either way there are ALOT of reasons to take Tenn in this one.

Another first will take place in this strange NFL season as the Titans come into this game favored. It's the first time to my knowledge that a team that lost by the most points of any team their last time out (59) has been favored in their next game. It is hard to say what is going on in Tennessee, but certain to say it is not good. The Titans were 13-3 last year, and have opened this season 0-6. Many thought at 0-3 that this team would turn it on. Then they dropped to 0-4 and again, most thought the same thing. But when they went to 0-5, this team obviously quit, playing the worst game I can remember seeing a team play vs. New England two weeks ago. So why would they show up after needing a win for two weeks in the worst way, and then when their season was completely over, just go through the motions? They showed no resolve or pride, and I don't expect them to suddenly find it at 0-6 knowing that their season is all but over. Desperate to do something (nothing else has worked), Jeff Fisher benched Kerry Collins in favor of Vince Young. Young is supposed to save this team? Child please. It's reported that Fisher didn't even want to do this but owner Bud Adams told him to. That shows you how much faith Fisher has in Young. But, Fisher's attentions would be better focused on a defense that has allowed 33 points and over 400 yards per game! Jacksonville has a different mission as they can move to 4-3 and become viable playoffs contenders with a win. They have begun to play much better in recent weeks, going 3-1 the last four . The oddsmakers keep living on the Titans of a year ago, and this team is not only is losing, they are not even competitive as they have dropped each of their last three games by 20+ including one to the Jags. While he's had his ups and downs as coach of the Jags, Jack Del Rio is at his best as an underdog where he has posted a 32-21 ATS mark. Jacksonville is the better team on this field and I am backing them with the points.

i will start by saying these are two great coaches, the lean is to fisher of tenn, he will NOT be fired at seasons end, he is the longest tenured coach in the NFL, and he has a super bowl appearence and numerous playoff wins, del rio no chopped liver tho.... jax O not intimidating at all, mjd the only name worth mentioning, although garrard has developed with sims-walker as of late, mjd will be held in check as tenn D holding opponents to 60 yards rushing at home... jax D not intimidating at all, and tenn still has burner chris johnson to deploy, lendale white to pound in short-yardage-situation, and vince young making first start of year, he isnt intimidating - just a shake up that is noteworthy... jax won the first game by 20 and they were getting 3, at jax no less... this will be a much closer game, not all tenn players have given up, and jax believes they still are in playoff hunt... tenn 24 - jax 21

Don't over look this game. Jax has more to gain in this one and have beaten Tenn already this year by 20+. Tenn is done. Jax is still in it.

No better spot then right here for Tenn to get their first W.  Jacksonville is not a good deam, as was displayed last week when they barely squeaked out a 3 point W as a 3 point fav against the Rams, and as was also displayed in the 41-0 shallacking the Seahawks handed them as the Jags were listed as a 1 point fav in that contest. 

Vince Young will give the Texans the lift they need to notch win #1 on their belt.
