I think San Fran should be a 6 point favorite here at least.  I love them at -3.  Jax is a bad team.

This game could be an ugly one. Two teams currently headed in different directions. But I just don't see the Jags goin to the coast and takin this one. In a close one 49ers 20, Jags 16

More and more I have to respect your handicapping, man. And what you say about the Jags is many times very true. However, that being said Coach Singletary will have these guys playing their ass off in a very winnable contest here. I can only see a SF cover, and a major bet here, my friend!

Coltsalltheway your quote about jags winning games they are not supposed to win are backed up by some stats here.

Jags have been an underdog of 3 or more points in 5 games and have covered as a dog in  4 of those games. I can safely say the Jags are covering as a dog at an 80% clip.

I like there chances here. But personally I feel there are some better games to bet out there. I will probably have them in a parlay bet though. Good luck.

THESE 2 TEAMS ARE SECOND IN THEIR DIVISION (SAN FRAN @ NFC WEST)AND (JACKSONVILLE @ AFC SOUTH). WHAT THIS MEANS TO ME IS THAT THEY'RE BOTH PLAYING TO STAY IN POSITION. IF THE JAGS LOSE AND HOUSTON WINS OVER IND THEY TIE AND IF SEATTLE WINS AND SAN FRAN LOSE THEN THEY LOSE THEIR SPOT. SAN FRAN HAS MORE TO LOSE THAN JAGS BECAUSE SEATTLE IS LIKELY TO BEAT ST LUIS RAMS.
I'M SURE THIS IS ON COACH MIKE SINGLETARY'S MIND AND I'M SURE THAT HE IS GOING TO LET HIS TEAM KNOW AS WELL HOW IMPORTANT THIS IS. IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN COACH MIKE PLAY BEFORE AND TO SEE HOW INTIMIDATING HE IS ON THE FIELD, PLEASE GOOGLE HIS ASS AND YOU'LL KNOW WHAT I MEAN. IF HE TAKES THAT SAME MENTALITY OR FEROCIOUSNESS IN THE LOCKER ROOM, THEN HIS BOYS WILL SURELY NOT WANT TO LET HIM DOWN.
THIS WILL DEFINITELY BE A CLOSE GAME CAUSE BOTH TEAMS ARE VERY SIMILAR AS FAR AS AVERAGES ON BOTH OFFENSE AND DEFENSE FOR THE LAST 4 GAMES.

    SAN FRAN : OFFENSE  18.75
      DEFENSE ALLOWED   22
    ----------------------------------------------
    JAGUARS : OFFENSE   19.75
     DEFENSE ALLOWED    22

Singletery is a smart coach and will find a way to win this game.  MJD may get 80-100 yards rushing, but Crabtree will have 2 TD’s.

    J-Ville - 17

    San Fran - 26

Don't fool yourselves. Sure, JAX won their last 3, but only by a total of  points and against teams that have struggled and/or are struggling late; KC, JETS & BUF.

SF has lost some games lately, but mostly closes ones against some quality teams.

I like SF in this spot.  They've got their weapons, they've got incentive and they're at home.

    Jacksonville - 28                                     San Francisco - 20

    Jaguars +3                             over 41.5

Jags were always a decent road play...With that in mind I'll take the 3 points and roll with the hot team .
