I will hazard to say Jax will not even be competitive in this one.  The Patriots are historically STRONG after a bye week and their 1st week in the playoffs.  They usually blow everyone out in their week 1 playoff mathch-ups; no different this time.

Not exactly what you would call a real powerhouse, as a matter of fact, trending the wrong way, in my opine. Yes, I know this isn't college, and a win is a win, but I can assure you, the Pats are a helluva alot more concerned about Jax, than the other way around. I really see them losing this game,and regardless, Indy is going to win the Super Bowl, when it's all said and done with.......again.

Got to take some chalk this week.......if you don't......you will be sorry......not saying every dogs is barking......but I flat out promise that at least 2 and maybe three of them pay!!!!

       i've got no problem taking the favorites at all,especially my PATS(lately),but 13.5 is friggin nuts at this juncture in the season.JAX really doesn't have much of an offense,except that two headed monster in there backfield  and the PATS o-line will keep TOMMY B off his ass,but you always got that friggin BACKDOOR COVER,with that many points.

Now waite a minute my friend........you must be drinking gin martinis at the same pace as me tonight!!!!I may have blathered a bit in my post that you responded too......but I am all over Jax......just like you!!!  The Pats are 2-6 ATS over the last 8 games and only blew out Buffalo and Miami.......not covering Miami!!  I'm with you bud.....Jax all the way with all that chalk in my pocket!!!!  Just like I have bet 7 outta the last 8 weeks on the dog playing the Pats..........but don't poo-poo the over either bud.....it is like 9-1 or 10-1  now..........Hawkeye identified that wierd trend two months ago.........don't ask any questions........I know it doesn't make sense with thier running game and steady D.......but it hits every fricken week!!!!

Jacksonville seems like the type of team that should be able to cover 13.5 easily (sound running game, long drives, pressure D), But I still see a high scoring dog fight. With this Pats team I just don't know, they could win by 20.  I'm going to take the over, drink heavily, and cheer for points.

I think I like the Giants, Chargers and the over in the Packers game too, but I don't have any good reasons as to why and would like to be talked out of it.
