Colts ML. Old man Manning is done, and what better way for him to retire than by the hands of his successor, Andrew Luck, against his former team? This is the type of storyline the NFL loves.

I'm a huge Indy fan and this scene is all too familiar to us.  Manning has a bye (read, time to get rusty and/or uptight), playing outdoors in potentially bad weather.  Add in his age and tired arm and this spells upset.  His worst games were when the stakes were the highest, especially in bad weather.  You're welcome, New England.  The only play here is Colts +7.  Throw in a little money line bet and you could be cashing nicely.  Trust me, Manning will be throwing the ducks and Vontae Davis and Co. will be feasting.  Luck couldn't wait for the mandatory press conference Sunday to end to he could start preparing.

Yep he looked washed up in his last game vs Raiders....Retard!!  As long as Manning can play the game Luck will not beat him in the playoffs. Not a chance!

Manning barely hit 50% of his passes and didn't get a TD.. his time is over. He hasn't had a good game since week 12. I will miss him tho, he is an all-time great

I will be in the stands Sunday afternoon and there's NO WAY this Denver defense let's Luck and that shaky O-line come in to our house and win. Absolutely no chance. I see an outcome much like the first half of Denver's week 1 win over them. They dominated that half and will dominate this entire game.

    Denver - 34
    Indy - 13

I see some emotional  posts from the Denver folk and rightfully so-they have one of the all time greats.  But being from Indy, beware.  In his prime, with the teams we had, we should have 3-4 SB wins.  Instead we beat a lame Bears team with Rex Grossman and got outplayed by the Saints as favs in that one, losing when Manning panicked and threw a pick 6 to Tracy Porter.  Nothing fazes Luck.  I'm just sayin', with a touchdown spread, the only play here is the Colts.  Manning will oblige us with at least one pick and the cold and the wind will take care of the rest.  His arm strength never was great and his age and the weather will only compound that liability.  We loved him here, but the warts always came out in January.

Gotta go with the Colts here plus the TD. Young gun vs. old master……. Peyton taught him a lesson the first game this year, but the Colts are a much better team now and Denver has regressed some. Colts and OVER for me to keep up my hot streak!  -   THE Myth

I don't have a horse in this race from a fan perspective...just money. Manning haters: he had his 2nd best season in his career in TDs and yards this year. Yes, he has weapons to pla with, but I wouldn't go so far to say he's done.

Indy is a one dimensional team. They cannot get the run going. They keep trying and keep failing. Herron showed some hope, however briefly, but his two fumbles likely lost him Playing time. Maybe the TR project will work out, but he hasn't shown much potential either.

Luck is good, but still makes mistakes too often. The play calling in the Cincy game was also terrible. Shovel pass on 3rd and goal to the two instead of trying that on 2nd stands out.

Manning sill ended with a higher paser rating, similar td:int ratio, and the two were very close in passing yards ( remember Indy cannot run).  However, a TD might be too tall an order. I'm gonna watch this line and may bite at 6.5 due to denvers running game, but all said the OVER looks good for these two pass first teams.

    Good luck y'all.

Andrew Luck seems to be progressing each year.

1st year = lost in the wildcard round

2nd year = won the wildcard round, lost in the divisional

3rd year = won the wildcard, win the divisional and lose in the conference championship?

not saying Indy wins here.... but I don't know why out of all the underdogs in the divisional round I feel the Colts might just have the best chance to pull off the upset. just a hunch..

I think this game will be TD for TD and high scoring.  Luck likes to throw the ball deep and can score quickly and often.  7 points seems like a lot for a team like IND that can score a lot of points.  This game should go OVER and IND +7.  I am concerned that DEN has struggled to score the last 2 wks.  And Manning throwing ducks in cold weather is also a concern.

Manning won't have to go 30-for-34 and four TDs to win this game.  That is what CJ Anderson is for.  That is the ace in the hole for Denver and the Colts struggle to stop a decent rusher when the QB is also dangerous.

I agree --it will be point for point in the passing game --- BUT --- and this would have cost Indy the game last week . Denver's not so secret weapon is it's running game. If Cincy had their running weapons it may have been different. Luck is a good QB , but he get's to be a Hail Mary type of passer more often than not.He is extremely dependent on the interference call or the stretch of his receivers. Denver by 10 and the over.... The only game I capped under was the Seahawks game against those pitiful tackling dummies ..... and I detest the Cardinals ( that one goes back to 1925 )  .. good luck

I'm sure Indy can afford to have him run for 70-80 yards if they put more pressure on the Old Man(ning).
