CLE has been a surprising team this year under the direction of Hoyer, however, they have not played a Defensive line like the Texans yet.

A close match up as Houston tries to catch up to the colts and Browns try to hold on an unforeseen lead in the division. 

These two teams are trending in opposite directions as the Texans lost the last 4/5 and the Browns won the last 5/6. It should be noted that most of the Texans loses in the season were given up towards the waning minutes. This has led to the Texans making a QB change to Ryan mallet who has only 4 passes behind Tom Brady in 2012 and has 1 completion and 1 pick.  You can definitely count on him coming out and at least having the desire to show the world what they have been missing.  Houston is coming off the BYE which could give him some confidence.  Sometimes a new QB could prove to help as the opposition has no film on them. 

Arian foster is 2nd in the league in rushing and TDs. It is very unfortunate that he is out for this game with a new QB making his debut. In a bright spot, the Browns give up 134 Pass YPG (5th most)

On the flip side Brian Hoyer has already set career highs in %, attempts, yards, and TDs. He will however face JJ watt who is a beast on the sacks (max) with 8.5 (7th) and is an all-around defensive threat to offenses. 

One interesting observation for tomorrow will be how well the Browns will do after a big win again, with the first time resulting in a very disappointing loss to JAX (24-6) after a 21 point advantage over PIT. They are now coming off a big thumping off the road against CIN. 

This could be a closely knit game but with foster out, a new QB in start which has typically not created good results in the 2014 season.  It is arguable for who will cover, if you believe Browns will crumble again off a big win and face an unfamiliar QB. Browns seem the more likely outcome.  Browns will be playing with a lot of intensity as their playoff hopes depend on it. The last time the Browns lead the division was 1994 when Watt was 5.

Shouldn't this line be much bigger with all things considered or is Vegas picking up easy money?  Texans cant stop losing, Browns cant stop winning, Foster (out) is the entire offense, back up QB, and a dome team playing in freezing cold.  The line should be closer to 6 or 7, right?

I agree with YoungUP......line seems low for sure, at 1st glance.  Basically a pick 'em, with home team getting the usual 3 pt nod.  I mean, almost everyone will lean immediately to CLE when the eyes see this line on paper. However, I believe that coming off a bye, and getting as many as 5-6 defensive players back on the field in some capacity, will help tremendously. No matter what Mallet's lack of history in the NFL is, remember that he DID make the PATS team, and get some great tutelage with Coach & Brady. For me, that means something......  I may be over thinking this one, but in this CRAZY NFL, gimmie HOU for $2 straight.  BOLTA

The line is low because the Texas match up well with Browns.  Foster out, Blue In and he's a beast.  Texas could be a bet today.  For me,  no play.

Mallet is absolutely atrocious in what I've seen from him.  Watching him in the preseason this year was painful.  I wouldn't be surprised if he had a 20% completion percentage in this game.  I don't think he's even accurate enough to be picked off.  Lots of balls thrown at receiver's feet most likely.  Texans defense will play tough, but I don't see the Texans offense scoring more than 13 points.  I'll take the home team at the Dawg Pound.  Good luck all
