ehh, tough kinda leanin under but these D's can give up some serious points sometimes...
if we were to roll with the over then im feelin like GB needs to put up at least 4 scores at least to have a shot at this going over, we can can't count on BIG throws downfield by Rodgers under national spotlight

Due to my wife recovering from surgery we are not spending our usual yearly Oahu 2 week vacation this year for Thanksgiving...So I'll be cooking early for the ohana and friends coming over to my house and I figure I might as well bet on this early game

Daunte was terrible the last time they met. Way too many trends point to the Packers favor. This game is way too important for Green Bay to give away and look ahead.

I am on this as well. Did the exact same thing with them last week against SF. I was counting money 3rd and 4th quarter while the 9ers were kicking in the back door.
I can just see some last minute garbage score that brings DET within 10.
You can count on Favre throwing some 4th quarter picks as well as a few bad play calls by Lombardi...

Call it a hunch, but I think the Cowboys are the only favorite that covers Thanksgiving. I live in Dallas and yes I am a fan of Dallas, but I am a much bigger fan of money.
Vegas sets a line based on trends/consensus, among other things. What is the most watched day in FOOTBALL, minus the superbowl? Thanksgiving... Everyone and their brother/uncle/aunt/etc.. will be putting a little $$ on the games, so the only thing left to do is go against the grain.
Dallas- Cowboys score 7 against Washington, Oakland beats the Bengals. The perfect lead into Thursday's game... Hence, the line is set at 13.5. (Makes you second guess those Cowboys, right?)
Detroit- Greenbay plays well enough to win at home against the 49ers and the Lions win by a point against the browns at home. Greenbay shoulda, woulda, coulda beat the Lions on Thanksgiving, but the Packers will have a short fall and the Lions will play like there is no tomorrow, with or without Stafford. (I'd almost rather have Culpepper, with my play)
Denver- Broncos have fallen off the map. Giants had fallen off the map until they beat Atlanta in OT. (Not saying Atlanta is some super team, but had the Giants lost to Atlanta off a bye, WOW) Broncos got murdered at home against a solid AFC opponent. It seems like the Broncos have lost their home field advantage, Pittsburgh & now SD?? Now a falsely lifted Giants team comes strolling in to take it's turn at the fallen Broncos. The Broncos will tighten up this game and may win outright. Eli vs. Broncos secondary makes for a looooooong plane ride home for Eli. (Just saying)
I'm not posting this on all three threads to waste space. Just my take on how things will pan out this Thursday. Put a small play on the parlay and you might be suprised.

You know, this is actually a huge game for Daunte Culpepper and the Lions. They're on national TV, they're tired of losing this game, and Daunte has had a few days to prepare knowing he's getting the start, and should be appropriately motivated to erase the memory of his last game against them.
The Packers are clearly the better football team and looking at the numbers it seems crazy to bet against them . . . but we know they've been inconsistent at times and I'm sure I'm not the only dude on these threads to notice that O-Line is on pace to give up the most sacks in NFL history. And on defense, losing Al Harris and Aaron Kampman is going to be a pretty big deal.
I think the emotional comeback against Cleveland was a big deal for Detroit emotionally and while I won't be going crazy on this game I'll still small play the Lions and the points.
