Don't be a moron.  Tebow struggled against a HORRIBLE miami team for 3 quarters.  Detroit is primed and ready to make a statement against somebody...anybody.... after 2 heartbreaking losses. With or w/out a healthy Matt Stafford...it doesn't matter.  it doesn't matter that Javid Best may or may not play and Detroit has a crappy running game.

 

Bet on Detroit to cover - whatever.  Gud lucking thinking Tebow's luck hold's out 2 weeks in a row. 

Agreed, this is not the game you want to be pulling against the Lions.  Denver is the perfect team for Lions to unload their frustration on.  Even without Stafford, I think Denver is bad enough on offense (mainly gross QB inconsistency), that Detroit can stack line and go balls out.  The over-aggressive front 7 hurts the Lions against teams that can mix it up effectively, sadly for Tebow and Denver, they are not one of the teams that can do that.  With 2 tough losses and the lack of a real threat passing the ball, Denever is in over their heads here.

     Tebow will be held in check, as the Lions find "some way" to score points against a terrible Denver team. I'm very fortunate that the points are more than fair due to the "over-compensation" of the Stafford injury. Detroit has too much pride and the division is on the line, to allow a "scrub" team like the Broncos a victory here!

Passing game is fine.  A good running back sets up the pass no running back no passing game.  If we could only turn the clock back and have Barry right now we would be unstoppable.  Barry and the talent they have at WR and TE WOW.

Yeah Detroit losing Best was HUGE.  and Stafford has not had that great of a year in all honesty. But any asshole with an arm just needs to throw the ball in the general vicinty of Johnson and he will catch it.  Call Eric Hipple.

Vue and CJ i love you both.  On my Lions.  Like i said i went to the game in Detroit last week and they really struggled vs Falcons but of course they are not playing the Falcons this week and the 16 they put up last week may just win this game 16-9.  Small play on the Lions.

If there is anything that we should have learned by now...is that part of betting involves LOGIC.  and some use it more than others.  In reference to the quad....I can't readily disagree with his logic. For example...plz refer to last weeks Kc v Oak's thread for a prime example of LOGIC in action.  I entered a spirited debate with a certain 702capper who tried to tell me that it didn't matter that Oakland was entering a game w/out their top 2 qbs  (jason Cambel and Caron Palmer) and that  even if T Prior started...Oakland would win....NO MATTER WHAT.  I was called all sorts of foul names and had my credibility questioned to no end.  We all know how that game turned out.   

 

Having said that....Thequad seems nothing short of brilliant to me.  I know I'm headed for a win when my above average betting logic matches up with a fellow bettor who consistently uses nfl logic.  While we are on opposite sides for this game...I hold alot of stock in thequad's opinion.  maybe the quad does have a point.  History clearly shows that it doesn't matter who is on your squad...Calvin "Megatron" Johnson or even hall of Famers like the 90s cowboys with Emmith Smith and Michael Irvin....UPSETS do happen....especially with backups.  There is probably a good reason that Shaun hill is the backup.  Remember......the 90s cowboys during their sb run lost to the lowly Cincy Bengals when Troy Aikman was out and Jeff Blake won his 1st start.   So....if one were to review nfl history then one would know that if the 90s sb cowboys could lose to one of the worst teams in the NFL at that time with a pro bowl stacked squad on both sides of the ball...DO you really want to say that there's no way in hell that Detroit can't lose to lowly Denver?
