i'm leaning Carolina here despite the giant line...the offense looked so bad against Oakland, they are better than that...my play will depend on the Detroit QB situation though, if Culpepper plays, i'm on Carolina

LOVE LOVE THE OVER.....DETROIT WILL STILL SCORE WITH A NINTY YEAR OLD QB....JUST LOOK AT THEIR GAME HISTORY..AND NO WAY IS DETROITS D GOING TO DO WHAT THE RAIDERS DID....THE RAIDERS D IS NOT BAD...JUST THIER OFFENSE !! GL!!

I can't swallow that many points, however, I can figure over 39.5 and that's what Sunset Station was giving on the O/U!

I'm playing Carolina no matter who is in the backfield....
 
 
They are undefeated at home, and Delhomme is looking to bounce back with that showing last week...
 
I see Deangelo Williams running rampid and setting up everything lol....
 
I'll lay the points, this double digit dog is not covering... this team is too balanced and one of the elite in the NFL

The worst of the worst historically play better in the 2nd half of the season. Double digit dogs have paid well so far (I played 5 units last week on Kansas City-my only play of the week) Still waiting to see if the lovely public can push this thing up to 15.5 for me then I will play the cowardly Lions, but only at that number or higher. GL

Hope this Jets game is a good one...Brett will score more than the last time bet your ass on that!! The pats D is getting short staffed....I am glad I took the 3.5 because I got a feeling its going down....

CAR has the 2nd best scoring D in the league and Culpepper is not going to be much better this week, he will have memories of the day his career came to an end in Carolina in 2005. Now way the Panthers O struggles as much as last week. 14 means the bookies are trying to scare you into taking the points.

With the number of times I've been burned by the Lions, I should just as soon stay clear of this game.  But I can't help myself.

Not to many double digit favorites have covered this year, but I think Carolina does. They jump out early and demoralize a sad lion team that starts looking towards next year... Carolina -14  GL to all

Actually, I just looked at every nfl game on wagerline this year with a double digit line. True, "double digit" dogs (10 or more) covered 13-2 times. Those 2 losses were lines of 10 exactly.

on these types of games the big under dogs tend to cover plus i think Detroit has to win at some point.

Daunte to start this one. I know during his brief stop in Miami he had a hard time with the playbook and he had all season to work on it. IMHO his ability to read defenses was exploited in Miami. He also struggled early with the Raiders as well. 2 weeks into the NFL and playing on the road is not a good sign for the Lions.
