I honestly hope you are joking otherwise you know about as much about football as I do about nuclear fusion. That last game the Vikings played means jack shit. Everyone and their mother knows that the Giants phoned in that game.  Hell, the Rams probably could have beaten the Giants in that situation.

Minnesota has been solid all year?  No, kid, they haven’t.  They are the classic team that does great at the beginning and middle of the season and then starts to tail off towards the end and it carries over into the playoffs.

Also if you honestly believe that every Vikings player matches up better that the Cowboy player they will be facing on the other side of the ball you are either high or legally retarded

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ok, I'm going to come clean.  I'm a big time Dallas fan, but even I'm nervous about this game. That's why with my hard earned money I'm betting the under. 

Now in regards to all of the people on here,  I have to say that straight shooter makes the most sense to me and this is including myself.  it's pretty obvious that the minn v giants game didn't mean jack shit and I agree the rams would have given the giants a good battle if not upset in  that game.  in regards to minn...they have had their bad moments too as far back as early in the season.  Their 1st game with Detroit kinda worried me when they fell behind ...yeah they won, but I wondered if that was a sign of things to come and it was.  minn is 12-4 and Dallas is 11-5...that's not much of a difference record wise.  Also, Dallas has played a MUCH TOUGHER schedule than minn has.  Dallas didn't get to play Detroit....TWICE.

Dallas didn't get to play Detroit twice?? They did get to play the Redskins twice... And if I remember correctly, The Lions won that game!! And the Vikes beat GB twice and Dallas lost to them!!

I had no idea that he kicked it through the uprights LOL I must have missed that.... but I think it's a notable factor because Harvin has been giving them great field position all year, and he ran back quite a few to the redzone...

I am normally on the Under, but believe that this will be a bit of a shoot-out.  As mentioned above, the Minnesota O-Line has had a very hard time opening up holes for AP (no 100 yd rushing in last 7 games) and have become very dependent on the pass.  This is very similar to the problems that Eagles had against the Cowboys, and this plays into the Cowboys strengths (letting the D-Line pin their ears back).  Further, the Vikings pass defense has been carved up by every competent passing teams (GB, Zona, Pitt) and even some incompetent passing teams (Chi and Car).

Therefore, I see Dallas being able to score quite easily and see the Vikings throwing the ball a great amount to keep.  

This game goes OVER the posted total, and should result in a 3 to 10 point Cowboy victory.

I do sorta see your point though, Dallas is a decent bet. Besides the fact the Vikings averaged 7 more pts pergame, and they are playing in Minnesota, oh and Tony Romo is going up against the most experienced quarterback in the league, oh and not to mention the Vikings have had an extra week to rest, and besides the fact that Minnesota has more sacks and turnovers on the year. I mean besides all that, Dallas seems like the play.

Look at the Cowbillies first drive vs. the Eagle, when they got close to the goal line the penalties started popping up, those were the real Cowbillies. Romo turning his head when throwing the ball, shying away from contact. Phillips challenging every good play against them, they're going to be out of TOs before both halves are over.

How many times are the Cowbillies going to be off sides? O/U 7. Anyway we're going to see if Dallas can beat anybody other than the Eagles.

The Giants beat Dallas twice, know why? Because Dallas can't cover the pass. Favre can pick out where the holes are in coverage and Dallas won't have an answer. Dallas' answer to the Giants was Romo throwing 53 times and still losing the game. Even thou the Giants are not a very good team this year.

Will this be the 5 TD, or the 5 int Romo playing? Will he turn into a pumpkin? Like the scorpion who wanted to cross the river, It's his nature.

The Dallas D is for real.  There is no doubt about that at this points.  As far as a 17-0 win over Washington in week 16 goes.......big deal.  Week 17 and last week against Philly.......who had one win all year against a team with a winning record.  I know that Dallas killed Philly, and that was eye opening, but now they are on the road and Vegas is giving them a few points while knowing that more than 50% of the money will pour in on Dallas.  That kinda smells funny to me. 

I'm not picking this game yet, I'm just saying.  Minny has a better D statistically.  A better QB, RB and a Defense that will get after you, similar to Dallas.........and they are at home where they are 8-0 this year.  I'm leaning toward Minny and the under here.  Two solid Defenses sharing the field should win out over the offenses during the course of the game.  Not to mention, I think Dallas feels like they acomplished some goals already......winning in December and winning a playoff game.  I watched that press conference and the players and coaches who talked seemed to gush.  This is a dangerous spot for a team to be in.  On the road, playing a solid defensive team with one of the top 6 explosive offenses in a building were Minny hasn't lost this year.  I'm not sayin......I"m just sayin. 

All that being said, I may still take Dallas before kickoff  They have been hot.......

Dallas has been amazing past few games on the D line. Wade Phillips has done a much better job with the defense this year since he took it over. Dallas hasn't faced a running back like Adrian Peterson this year though. Quickest way to slow down that pass rush, and protect Favre is to give Peterson his carries. Dallas only face 1 top tier rusher this year, that was Ryan Grant in week 10. 19 carries for 79 yards in a Cowboy win. They did face Carolinain week 3 but Carolina only ran the ball 14 times. Deangelo getting it 11 times. Other than those to the top rusher Dallas faced was Michael Turner(19th) and Cadillac Williams (23rd). If Minnesota can use Peterson and Chester Taylor to sta out of 3rd and 7 or more they will slow that pass rush way down. Time for Hutchinson and McKinney to earn their money.

Miles Austin should have a decent but not great game, Antoine Winfield is healthy and moving back out to the outside after playing nickel the past couple weeks,

This is a great matchup, Vikings went 8-0 at home this year. I'll take the Vikings -2.5

The Cowboys lost to GB........they would have been shut out if not for a junk TD with 30 seconds left in the game.
