I think the element of surprise is against us. Im sure some of you all,  like me, said to yourself yesterday...self..there is no way that pitiful rex grossman and some guy named flynn who scored 3 pts a against an avg det team could whip the pats and the cowboys. Both of these guys looked all pro....who is joe webb....might be someone that takes our money!

Webb was actually pretty good in college for those that arent familiar with the name.Peterson,Harvin and a few others are expected to play tonight,so more Offensive options will be available and should alleviate the pressure on the new QB.Expect alot of rushing in the first half to see what works.Defenses are similiar cept the Bears are giving up a tad more in the Pass D.Could be an interesting stat with Webb since he can pass and run.Too many points for Da bears to cover.Taking the points and looking at a close game.

I did great in the college bowls and sucked big time in the NFL on Sunday so I'm passing on this one...I was going with the Bears but after seeing what Flynn did yesterday with almost an SU victory over the Pats I cannot take any back up qb for granted.

Are you guys serious...comparing Joe Webb to Matt Flynn in their ability to handle an NFL passing game against a solid defense?  Flynn played for a natl championship at LSU, and against much better talent in college.  Flynn studied two years behind one of the better QB's in the NFL and his taken a ton of snaps in practice and played alot of preseason.  Webb is rookie.  One that was never expected to see the field this year and certainly took an extremely limited amount of snaps in his only year with the team.  And the play of the cast around Flynn has far exceeded the mess the Vikings have been trying to settle all year.

This is throwing a rookie into the fire, and one that not only has less than a year in the league, but hardly any time practicing the hardest position on the field...and going against a stout, pressuring defense.  Slick ball, hard field, pressure, and no experience...good luck not turning the ball over all day long.  So he can run fast, the Bears will stack all night to stop the run.  Thus aint no option football league.  The QB scramble only works when you have the defense respecting the pass.  Which isn't the case here.  This game will be WAY too fast for a guy as inexperienced and unpracticed as Webb.   This is nothing like the Flynn (or even Grossman) situation, not in the least.

There was also an article on Sportsline as well.  I hope someone breaks Favre's leg tonight so I don't have to hear more about the most annoying person in sports.

The H=Vikes +15.5 Over 27 really looks good if Favre plays....Handful of Vicodin and he should be good to go....Everybody's hands are going to be numb....so why not play.....

Favre playing = smokescreen   yet if he does play I'd welcome Mr. 10TD/18INT back with open arms.  Especially since he three 3 picks in the first meeting.  Love to see him test his shoulder in freezing harsh conditions on a hard field.  Not gonna happen.  Theyre trying to take some heat off Webb.  Bears won't buy it. 

Is it just me or is this Minnesota team the most annoying team in recent history?  They are not a factor and they just won't go away with all the bs drama.   Just cut the shit, finish your games quietly and go away.  Geez, the drama is old, stale, and no one outside the state gives a damn.

The line opend at 9 and has moved to 7 so somone is playing the Vikings too many varibles in this one for much of a play but I'm going to tease the Bears -1/O27 for a unit. I think Bears 21/10 sounds about right.

field is in decent shape so it may be an over.  Favre may play but seriously I would not risk injury on that weather
