I need the under to win my pool, but a staight up Clev win will do it as well.  I know ima get fugged again on the MNF total tiebreaker, shoulda never switched the Birds with the Packers last minute and I already woulda had it locked up.

These are the same nutjobs who yesterday pounded Atlanta, New Orleans, N.Y. Jets, Miami, etc. - and also think teams like the Florida Gators and the Texas Longhorns are always going to cover that 30 points they have to give up every game.

Even though Man-Gina is a huge douche, and the Browns do suck donkey-balls, they're still an NFL team, and 10.5 is just too many points to pass up, at home, against a "defensive but not necessarily offensive" minded Ravens, and on a National televised game.

I think the Browns show up, and I like the over.....

I believe that Clevland needs to stick with Brady.  Brady is very smart.....something that is absolutely essential to play as an NFL QB.....He's the stronger of the two QB's.......problem is they have nothing around the horn for him to use.  rookie and first year wideouts......bad backs.......bad line......average D.......I expect emotion and the fact that the fans want Brady and by most accounts I think the team does.......That should be enough for Clev to get over 7 points in the first half which is my favorite bet of the night.....besides Balt to roll them by 11 or more!!!

Off rip Bal was a lock but after further review cle plays big on monday night. take the points an the over. 27-20 final.  cle should score a meaningless td to wrap up the game. really iffy but im up big this week. glta 

Baltimore is thought of as a great "D" team......they were last year. One of Baltimore's problems is they're still reading last years clippings.  This is a must win for Ravens but they have Peyton comming to town next week.  This the Browms last chance to not be the laughing stock of the NFL on natl. tv. 2 weeks to bring Brady along, the Browns can score 20 at home vs. Ravens...........this one's going over 39.

OVER with the RAVENS in a small TEASE... I live in MD and love the Ravens BUT 10.5 on the road on MNF is too risky for a team that hasn't performed well the past 3 weeks. GL all.

division, rivalry game, MNF, both offenses stink ... i think any scoring will be a direct result of special teams and turnovers ... this one goes under the number ...

On a (somewhat) sidenote:

Along w/ Harvin and Crabtree, Massaquoi is one of my favorite wide-outs of this season's rookie class.  I love that he's a former Bulldog, too.  Great fit for this new-look Browns receiving corps.  

If Cleveland shows up tonight, you can bet he'll be involved in some big plays.

P.S.  The 'B' stands for BALLS.

by no means is this a large play...

 

But it's monday night football... and I'm a degenerate and can't stay away...  and I'm rooting for the underdog....

so why not go against the public and take the home dog of 10.5 for a small play?

 

The largest loss of my career came when Ed Reed intercepted Jeff Garcia for the longest td in the history of the game.... then he did it again last year LOL... I got massacred that night... so I go into this matchup with caution...

I know these 2 teams well... and don't forget about the history of these 2 franchises.... nevermind the division rivalry... this is a city rivalry as well....

Doesn't vegas know that Cleveland is 1-7 with SIX of those loses being double digits.  Doesn't vegas know that the Browns have scored over 14 points in exactly TWO games.

Doesn't vegas know that the Ravens have already won three games by double digits (albeit all at home), including against the Browns.  Doesn't vegas know that they are coming off a big loss to Cincinnati and want to stomp a mud hole in Cleveland.

No way the Ravens don't cover 10.5!!  How could Vegas miss all thsi stuff (sure am glad I'm smarter than the book makers).  We should all grab it before Vegas realizes what a mistake they made.  This is a gift from the betting gods.

But with 70% going Baltimore, why hasn't the line moved?  Just because I don't believe in gifts...

7 games apply to this scenario(take out wk1 and wk8). 4 of the scenarios they ended the same either both over or under. 3 if 1 went over, the other night stayed under. don't use this method to wager on games. if you must, i would like to book the action. horrible thought process for wagering.

Lets throw all the trends out for now.  Cleveland is a very very different team now.

Baltimore is the only team that hasn't changed.  Anyone can point to the past and bring up a relative fact. 

I understand it would be a rivalry but not matter how much they want or feel or wish... skill is skill.  There is a large gap between the 2.  If you are playing the odds, you choose Baltimore, if you are playing gut feeling, hoping, wishing, you play Cleveland. 

No one ever stated that Cleveland can't hang with Baltimore.  It's playing the odds that most likely Cleveland can't stay close to Baltimore.

My plays would be:
1st half under 19
1st half Baltimore -6
Baltimore whole game -11

If Score is 10-17 to 0 going into half, I would play Baltimore again.. again, only if scoreless.  After browns realize not much can be done, they will start throwing for longer plays going for big ones and thats where TO and mistakes will start to happen.

This is going to be a bloodbath.  The Browns might be the worst team in the league at this point and that is saying a lot.
