Panthers at home. Delhomme and Smith will connect. Abrams will make some plays, but not enough to make up for a rookie QB playing on the road against 1 of the top Ds in the league... Panthers by double digits... GL to all

i know i already posted something along these lines, but it seems that the general consensus on people betting on atlanta is for two reasons:
1) they smashed arguably the 2nd worst team in the league, in the georgia dome, and smashed the other team that is the argument for 2nd worst, also in the georgia dome 2) the panthers, coming off two huge, exhausting wins, looked bad against an (at worst) average team who was in desperate need of a victory, in Minnesota
interesting stuff...

Once again it seems as though the general public has missed a MAJOR factor in this game.
What do the Atlanta Falcons do VERY successfully? RUN THE BALL
How many 100 yard rushers have the Panthers allowed this season? ZERO
Which running backs have they faced? ADRIAN PETERSON....TOMLINSON
The Falcons have beat the two worst teams in the NFL this season in the Chiefs and the Lions, both of those games were at home. Now they go on the road to face a very solid and steady NFC South opponent. Didn't we just see this game two weeks ago? A team built around defense with a balanced running game and a quarterback who doesn't make mistakes? Panthers will shut down the running game, force Matty Ice to throw the ball, get 2 interceptions leading to at least 7 or 10 points. Game over. Come on people, it's the freakin Falcons.
Carolina -6.5
Prediction: Panthers 27 Falcons 13

Steve Smith should be more of a factor in this game being that it's his 2nd week back. Although I do like Turner from Atlanta and what he brings to the table to Atlanta's running game I fear the Panthers defense will welcome Ryan to the NFL in this tough road game for the Falcons.
Panthers at the half -4
Aloha and good luck to all

My post isnt being a homer honestly , if i thought the Falcons wouldn't cover ,i would admit it but i would still root for my favorite team like everyone does.

Micheal Turner is the leading runner in the league right now. His partner back there is no slouch either. By the numbers, they are the best one two punch in the NFL right now. Matt Ryan is starting to really throw the ball well.......albeit against two weak teams and not so good his only road game against Tampa two weeks ago......but I really think there is a little something going on down in Hot-Lanta!!!! I'll take the points. Carolina was won two games in squeekers and lost last week to Minnesota(great run game and servicable QB)........kinda like Atlanta with the seven points.

See what people dont know is the Falcons have won in Carolina the past 2 seasons. If you are a Falcons fan than you would know John Abraham owns Jake Delhomme and that Panthers O Line. Abraham is the NFL sack leader with 6. Its a division game. Falcons always play Carolina close. As a Falcons FAN i am expecting them to possibly win this game. They wont get blown out the most they lose by is 7. Most they win by is 7. If the Falcons want to keep winning and have a shot at the playoffs than this is a game we must win cause the rest of the schedule gets harder. The Falcons defense is doing great right now. John Abraham is a sack master. Rookie LB Curtis Lofton is a monster hitter. Chris Houston can go with anybody. So far he shut down Roy Williams , Joey Galloway and Dwayne Bowe. So far this team hasnt ran out of gas in the 4th quarter of games like the old Falcons in the past.
You already know bout the offense Nfl league leading rusher and TDs. Turner the Burner.
