ARIZONA is 8-21 ATS after 2 or more consecutive wins since 1992.CAROLINA is 34-19 ATS in all games where the total is between 42.5 and 49 points since 1992.

I like Carolina here...I'm from Charlotte and the word around town is that this is the best team in the league hand down. They are better in my opinion than they were when they went to the Superbowl.
Warner is going to hit the ground alot in this game. With Peppers coming off of Warner's left side now its going to be tough. He is not mobile what so ever. He has no choice but to throw throw throw. This Carolina front 4 is bad ass like when Rick Flair was had the 4 horsemen. Remember? . yeah badass....
KEY NOTES:
Arizona is undefeated at home, but since winning at San Francisco in its season opener, it has been outscored 80-52 in losing its last two road games.
The Panthers have been led by a defense that is third in the NFL in scoring (14.9 points per game), third in total defense (286.3 yards per game)
Delhomme is 10th in the NFL with 1,533 passing yards, while Warner is third in passing yards (1,708) and tied for fifth in touchdowns (12).
PANTHERS -4

i'm thinking the under here... carolina with the good pass d and arizona with the good run d doesn't favor much offense in my opinion. That being said, I am hesitant to bet on a team here, but if i end up doing it i'll probably take carolina just if there running game gets shutdown, they still have a decent passing game. If the cards passing game gets shutdown, they rely on edge and the running game which sucks.

it's funny i just placed my bet on the under 43 for this game on logan's and i was about to place a small wager on carolina -4 until a little tip popped up from logan's saying that 88% of bettors are backing carolina. i got scared and didn't even place my small wager.

I think a lot of people have a team who they hate betting on or against because they feel like that team fucks them all the time. Well for me, it's the Arizona Cards.
This goes all the way back to their collapse against the bears on their first MNF game in their new stadium a few years back when the cards were up something like 21-0 or 28-0 at half and lost the game.
Anyways, when I look at this game, I think to myself that Vegas wants that Carolina cash. It seems like an easy home bet, but it's not. Carolina really worries me after their last game @ home. I was on TB in that game and not only did Carolina had offense issues, but they really had some defensive ones.
I don't think Arizona is going to score a ton of points today because of the low total. But I do, however, think Arizona gets the cover today. Could end up being a FG game even.
Arizona +4 MEDIUM sized play (would have made it large but I hate zona forever)

Some people will say that a team coming off a bye will be the upsetting team. I say go with the steady, consistent team. Carolina just wins baby. Arizona is not consistent on the road.
CAR -4

Panthers(-4)...I love betting against west to east a.m. teams...oddly, I like 2 of the biggest public plays on the board(the other being Bills-1)...Cards not the same team away, I also don't care about bye...they go into a hostile enviroment and Peppers n Co. will open up a can on Warner...why do my favorite plays have to be those 2?
