How do you win $1000? If you bet $1,000 (which I'm assuming is your 10 units) on a -600 Lakers Moneyline bet, you only stand to win $167, right? Not sure where you see the value in that, unless you see the Lakers as a sure-fire, 100% guaranteed win. Too much to risk for too little payout considering they are 0-4 against the Celtics this year and knowing the C's will probably take 1 out of these 3 LA home games.
With that said, I'm taking LA at -9.5, so I think you'll win your measley $167, but with this strategy you'll go broke quick.

It is funny--I had a dream that the Lakers won by exactly 10pts... It is vague but it seemed like I saw 80s ish.... I was thinking about betting BOS +9.5 but now that is out.... I was going to do the OVER 195.5 but now I am hesitant on that.....

Even though I said earlier I had a lot of thinking to do, I really had little thinking to do on this game tonight. I smell a BIG FISH tonight and it STINKS. Like I explained the other night before game 2, the odds makers are VERY VERY GOOD in these spots. And when the odds makers set a line THIS HIGH in the finals, THEY KNOW WHAT'S UP! My numbers show that the public is ALL OVER Boston and the points and common sense says to take the points and Boston. After all, this is the finals and that's A LOT of POINTS to be getting.
However, I feel this game is a big trap for the Boston backers. Yes Boston has taken care of business against the Lakers all year. But not yet on the road in the NBA finals. Let's not forget that Boston has won only two road games in the playoffs and one of those wins (game 6) was because Detroit laid A BIG EGG. Lakers will not be laying an egg tonight. The Lakers MUST win in order to have a legitimate chance of winning the series. They know this, and they WILL do this. Kobe is going to get to the line a lot tonight. The Lakers in general will get to the line more tonight than Boston will guaranteed. Gasol really impressed me last game as I did NOT see that kind of play from him against Tim Duncan and San An. He looked DAMN AGGRESSIVE and this is HUGE. Jordan Farmar is shooting well, FINALLY. Sasha and Vlad CONTINUE to knock down their three pointers. Luke Walton's dad is going to be at the game tonight for the first time in months because he was sick and I feel Luke will actually contribute tonight. I think this is going to be my last post here on covers for awhile. Perhaps I'll come back when college basketball starts next year. The forum does not actually get shut down at all, you'll find these threads by going to Forum>Official Game>Pro Hoops and see that all them are still kicking around. You can go back and brag if you have won. There are some characters that the forums that we can do without... but we can't take away their freedom of speech no matter dumb its.
