    For sure..

    OPEC cronies? No...

Saudis who pay politicians and big biz execs in return for political favor? No..

Most all countries use each other..even Canada is using us to ship their dirty oil down to deliver to China..so likely no country is perfect..but I'd stand by those who have done the same for us and have been consistent in how fairly they treat their citizens and others.

Who has stood by us in the way you feel?
How they treat their citizens?  So you agree there are people that are not treated so well by their country?  And just maybe we could make some of them allies if we helped them?

Saddam didn’t care if the UN and the US knew that he had nothing. The only reason Saddam was publicly defiant is because he was afraid of Iran knowing that he had nothing. Saddam told the US that he had nothing. The US and the UN both knew Saddam had nothing. All the intelligence that was gathered before the war showed that he had nothing.

For Bush the invasion was about business and it was damn personal. Cowboy Bush was getting back at Saddam for messing with his old man. Texas oil man Bush believed all that black gold could save America. Penguin Cheney saw the billions that could be made on war contracts. The WMDs argument was just a dog and pony show. There was nothing that would have stopped Cowboy Bush and the Penguin Cheney from authorizing the imperialist invasion.

So, basically two dudes pulled off big trick on millions. Okey-dokey.
All advisers and people around the world in intelligence believed these two guys.  Jesse Ventura would be on board with this one.

Cowboy Bush and Oil tycoon Bush's motives were revenge and oil…

Fourteen assassins were hired by Saddam Hussein and smuggled bombs into Kuwait with the intent of planting car bombs to assassinate Bush Sr. during his visit to Kuwait University...

Securing control over a major oil resource is what’s best for the world and Americas future...

“America is addicted to oil, which is often imported from unstable parts of the world. It's very important for there to be stability in a marketplace. I've read some comments from the OPEC ministers who said this was just a matter to make sure the market remains stable and predictable."
    -George W. Bush

"See, in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda."
    -George W Bush

Penguin Cheney’s motive was money… Cheney’s Halliburton made over 39 Billion dollars on Iraq War.

The only people on earth that believed Bush and Cheney and STILL continue to believe Bush and Cheney are American idiots...

The Bush-Blair 2003 Iraq memo is a secret memo of a meeting between American President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair that took place on January 31, 2003. It shows that the Bush administration had already decided on the US invasion of Iraq at that point.

It shows Bush floating the idea of painting a U-2 spy-plane in UN colors and letting it fly low over Iraq to provoke the then-leader Saddam Hussein to shoot it down, providing a pretext for America and Britain's subsequent invasion.

It also shows the two making a secret deal to carry out said invasion regardless of whether or not weapons of mass destruction were discovered by UN weapons inspectors.

I recommend you read the book Why America Fights: Patriotism and War Propaganda from the Philippines to Iraq
    - by Susan A. Brewer

You will learn the processes by which one federal administration after another has suppressed or misrepresented basic facts, stoked public fears, played to base nationalistic impulses, and gradually replaced the customary non-interventionism of Americans with a mythology of a country that must go abroad in search of democracies to promote.

If the Bush administration comes off looking less deceitful than many of its predecessors, that is only because those earlier administrations were so successful in their duplicity that the public mindset Bush needed to gain support for his wars had already been well established.

"In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist."
    - Dwight D. Eisenhower

Yeah, I’m so damn crazy… crazy informed.

Uh huh. And Everyone blindly went along. Including lots of non-war types. If 2 guys could pull that off alone be amazing. But would e more amazing if all the people that would have had to be in on it would have been complicit in keeping it a secret. Especially after public sentiment has faded.
Guess they all keeping the conspiracy a secret like 9/11  Pearl Harbor  moon landing. Etc.
Dont think Cheney even made money. He wasn't even at Halliburton then. Lotta companies made money. It is an oil area. Bush an old oil guy.  Companies always take advantage of these situations. So of course oil companies would do so in an oil-rich country. Still doesn't prove they drummed up war and got our guys killed so they could make money. If so that would've come out. Sooner or later someone feel guilty about keeping that secret or 9-11 secret.  Maybe moon landing still kept because nobody got killed.
Weird how these things always pop up when one side disagrees with the other. Instead of arguing against or for it coherently they drift off into kooky land. This is on both sides. Sorta like the lifelong conspiracy to get a nonamerican Muslim elected.

Do you know how to read? CIA officers and other government officials have said they knew Bush was determined to go to war, however bad the intelligence, but there was nothing that could be done. The people, the CIA, military officials, the press, and congress just went along with it. Colin Powell feels guilty. He said in his book that his instincts failed him and that Iraq was a blot, a failure that will always be attached to him and was mad for not smelling the problem. It’s not a secret. It’s out for the public to see. Only a few knew the truth. The rest were duped into it...

    ... Enough guilt for ya?

A half-dozen former CIA agents investigating prewar intelligence have found that a secret Pentagon committee, (set up by Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld in October 2001), manipulated reams of intelligence information prepared by the spy agency on the so-called Iraqi threat and then delivered it to top White House officials who used it to win support for a war in Iraq...

A leaked Cabinet Office briefing paper, for participants at a meeting of Blair’s inner circle on July 23, 2002, said that since regime change was illegal it was “necessary to create the conditions” which would make it legal...

... Is this drummed up enough for ya?

So, the secret pentagon committee, Bush’s 260 false statements, the yellowcake forgeries, the assassination attempt on Bush’s father, stealing oil for America’s future ("President Bush's Cabinet agreed in April 2001 that 'Iraq remains a destabilizing influence to the flow of oil to international markets from the Middle East' and because this is an unacceptable risk to the US 'military intervention' is necessary")...

... the Bush-Blair 2003 Iraq memo that shows Bush floating the idea of painting a U-2 spy-plane in UN colors to provoke Saddam to shoot it down and shows Bush and Blair making a secret deal to carry out the invasion regardless of whether or not WMDs were discovered by UN weapons inspectors, and Bush and Cheney’s ties to oil services (Iraq, the world's second largest source of oil) and war contractors (who were political donors)...

... isn’t enough evidence for you? What more do you want?

So what if he feels guilty?  Who wouldn't?  But not because he purposely went along with a drummed up plan. If they had really had WMDs and he didn't do anything he would've felt guilty also.
I worked in intelligence.  Big difference between analyzing intel and extrapolating from the data and purposely changing it to meet a set agenda of going to war!  This has never been shown to be the case.
Obviously, can't just go kill a dictator. But if the data have a reason to. Different deal. I honestly have never heard anyone come out and say they helped, or knew of the data being manipulated to go to war. Do you realize how many people would have to be in on this?
What oil was stolen?  Of course oil played a part. But they didn't drum the war up to help their cronies. No crony has said so; nobody who helped drum up war has said so;  nobody who faked intel has said so.
What plane was painted as UN actually?  I'm sure lots of things were discussed. In sure FDR let PH happened to get us in WWII. I'm sure 9-11 was allowed to stir up strife.
If any of this was true republicans would have taken this before congress.  Would not have waited on democrats, who would have for sure done it.
You are really losing me on this one. Maybe this is all a part of the plot of the racist whites because those are dark skinned people.  I mean this stuff does not add up at all to me. This is in the same category as Obama not having a birth certificate. Etc.
Oh, I can read. But never read any Dan Brown stuff yet.  May need to check it out. Did see one of the Nick Cage movies though.

Do you realize how many people would have to be in on this?

Yes, about 20 people... Here is the list of people… George W. Bush, person Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Tony Blair, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, Benjamin Netanyahu, Douglas Feith, Larry Franklin, Michael Ledeen, Harold Rhode, Ahmed Chalabi, William Luti, Abram Shulsky, and David Wurmser.

I’m sick of naive and uninformed people thinking that it takes hundreds of people to execute a plan. Twenty white-collar criminals can cause more damage to the world... than all the street criminals on earth combined.

What oil was stolen?  Of course oil played a part. But they didn't drum the war up to help their cronies. No, they did not.

Cowboy Bush and Penguin Cheney believed that military intervention was absolutely necessary in their eyes in order to attain oil market stability. Both of them believed what they were doing was what was best for America’s future and the world’s future.

Big difference between analyzing Intel and extrapolating from the data and purposely changing it to meet a set agenda of going to war! This has never been shown to be the case. Of course, not, who would want to incriminate themselves publicly, LOL! Valerie Wilson and Joe Wilson, both CIA officers have said publicly that Bush drummed up the war. You know how they know this? Because both of them were covert CIA officers working to find and verify hard intelligence about Iraq's presumed WMD program. When the Bush administration pushed the war to the public, none of the evidence the Bush administration presented matched what the CIA agents found. You know why that is? I'll tell ya, it was called the Office of Special Plans.

The Office of Special Plans is where the Bush intelligence came from. A CIA officer named Larry C. Johnson said that the Office of Special Plans lied and manipulated intelligence to further its agenda of removing Saddam. It's a group of ideologues with pre-determined notions of truth and reality. They take bits of intelligence to support their agenda and ignore anything contrary.

More than a dozen CIA agents responsible for writing intelligence reports for the agency told former CIA agents investigating the accuracy of the intelligence reports that they were pressured by the Pentagon and the Office of Special Plans to hype and exaggerate intelligence to show Iraq as being an imminent threat to the security of the U.S. BOOM! I bet that you’re probably thinking… who were these so called members of the Office of Special Plans?

Look up above and you will see a list of people that I presented at the top of this post of who was behind the Iraq war. That will answer that thought of yours.

What plane was painted as UN actually? If any of this was true republicans would have taken this before congress, would not have waited on democrats, who would have for sure done it.

The idea that a President of the United States actually purposed the possibility of painting a U-2 spy plane in UN colors to provoke Saddam to shoot it down in order to send American kids to war should make every American disgusted. Your response makes me sick. Yeah, sure… Reich Republicans would have taken it to congress. Democrats did take it to congress. Neither Bush nor the White House responded to the smoking gun memos. I wonder why?

This isn’t even a conspiracy. Twenty white-collar criminals got together with a plan that they believed would benefit their countries as well as the world. Cowboy Bush had every right to be mad at Saddam for attempting to assassinate his daddy. I would have wanted to do the same thing if I was him. Cowboy Bush and Penguin Cheney thought it was their patriotic duty to take control of Iraqi oil for the benefit of America and the world. Bush and Cheney both believed that the war was good for the US economy.

In the end, the motives were that Cowboy Bush thought he was getting rid of a brutal dictator, (who tried to have his daddy killed) and believed that taking control of the oil markets was for the good of the US and the world, and that war would stimulate the struggling US economy.

    Checkmate.

Sure. Bush believed he was getting rid of SH and stabilizing oil. But do you really think even 20 people could keep a secret like this?  Believe me when I say this isn't chess. It always amazes me how people can draw all sorts of conclusions and make them seem connected and coherent just because they see ghosts everywhere. I would go ahead and sell this to a reporter or Hollywood. No doubt they took some liberties. But all of this?  Again, as with your other conspiracy, you are giving these people way too much credit to plan and think ahead. Out of all the conspiracy theories I really can think of none that proved to be true. You could say the same 20 people could stage 9-11 or fake moon landing. Maybe JFK even fewer. Sooner or later people talk. Maybe one day a few of them will. Until then I like to think out leaders wouldn't intentionally do something on this level. But you feel free to tell me how no plane parts were ever found at the pentagon.

Okay---didn't know---just curious if kooky right had a legit beef or not.  Tired of hearing about golf, BB bracket, vacations.  Think they all deserve break---the hardest job around---just hard to knock him for that.

Will take your word if he is overdoing it---just hard for me to have that beef with the guy.

Yes, because all of them believed in the cause. All of the people behind the war see it as a noble cause that was best for the US and the world.

Yes, it is. It’s chess on a grand scale. It’s called political chess. Hollywood and reporters already have exposed the Iraq lie. There is nothing to sell to anyone. This is old news. We have lost just some liberties? LOL, we’ve lost more like hundreds.

But all of this?  Again, as with your other conspiracy, you are giving these people way too much credit to plan and think ahead.

What is all of this? Plans… think ahead? We were supposed to be greeted as liberators, and the oil would pay for the war, remember? The Office of Special Plans believes the war is about righteous revenge, the betterment of the world, removing a heinous dictator, spreading democracy, maintaining order, stabilizing oil markets, and the economy. There’s nothing outlandish, complicated, or complex about this at all. The suits needed to get the approval of the American public and the international community. The Bush administration isn’t the first to create and manipulate conditions for war.

Listen, stop bringing up September 11th. The JFK and moon landing conspiracies have been debunked by credible investigators.  I can name twenty so called “conspiracies” that have been proven to be one hundred percent true. You are seriously uniformed.

Sooner or later people talk. Maybe one day a few of them will. Until then I like to think out leaders wouldn't intentionally do something on this level.

Wow, you’re really naive, Raiders. LOL, what in the hell would compel the men to talk? The men don’t believe that they did anything wrong. Cowboy Bush isn’t the first president to do this. I suggest you brush up on American history. History clearly shows that McKinley, Wilson, FDR, Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, G.H.W. Bush, Clinton, and G.W. Bush all lied to the American people to go to war for “the greater good”. Turn off sheeple TV and spend some time getting informed.

Call me old fashioned, but I couldn't care less about yesterday or what Bush, Kennedy, or Eisenhower did. There are serious things going on in the world and I believe the president and his smartest advisers should be spending a lot of time collaborating and thinking about how to handle these matters. I think about the president on Martha's Vineyard, Kerry on Nantucket and Biden existing anywhere as part of the government, and I think Putin feels pretty good about everything. We are a pathetic non-factor and that is bad.

I like to think they are.  Teleconferencing, etc. nowadays it is very easy to stay in touch, etc.  I understand what you are saying and not totally disagreeing.  I just don't choose to have this as my beef with him is all.

Top Intel Chief Slams Obama, Blames HIS “Policy Failures” for Rise of Terrorism

Under pressure from President Obama, the military rushed to recruit local Afghans to stand up a national army and police ahead of his hasty year-end troop withdrawal. To process some 7,000 new recruits each month, corners were cut on background checks, allowing insurgents and terrorists to fill the ranks of the now-350,000-member security force.

At the same time, the Pentagon allowed the Afghan government to take over and empty US prisons of Taliban and other terrorists as part of a mass amnesty program. It also funded a terrorist “reintegration” program that pays Taliban fighters to surrender and join the government.

More shocking, the two programs feed a recruiting pipeline for Afghan security forces whom US troops are training to take over for them, further endangering them to insider attacks and jeopardizing our mission there.

US military intelligence now fear as much as 25% of Afghan security forces are Taliban or al Qaeda operatives and sympathizers, which means we may be arming and training an army of some 87,500 enemy infiltrators with easy access to US personnel and intelligence. The massive infiltration puts the entire Afghanistan exit strategy at risk. The compromised Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) takes over the country’s security on Jan. 1, 2015.

Money - Your conspiracy theories on the Iraq invasion are an absolute riot. Clinton couldn't get a bj without it getting out but we're to believe your claim that 20 people +/- conspired to go to war in Iraq knowing 100% that no WMDs existed?

As I always believed, liberalism really is a mental disorder...

Our dear leader is on a 2-week vacation, playing 36 holes upon arrival. How can anyone on earth say this man isn't a clear and present danger to the U.S.A.? And now he's moonwalking away from his big success story that HE promised to end the Iraq war and now he claims it wasn't him? I saw 15 clips of him bragging about ending the war. Please remember you can keep your doctor and health insurance if you wish to....

I didn’t present any theories or claims. Theories are based on speculation. A claim is to believe something to be true without evidence. I presented undeniable facts gathered by authentic sources.

You’re the one with the learning disabilities and disorders. You have a denial, auditory and reading comprehension disorder. I am a historical and political bookworm, not a liberal.

Sigh, one more time... I’m a Gary Johnson supporter and a Thaddeus Stevens radical-republican. I adhere to the principals of libertarianism and pre-1970 republicans like Alvan E. Bovay, Thaddeus Stevens, Abe Lincoln, Grant, Teddy and MLK. You probably consider them liberals.

The surefire way to win a political debate is by being more informed than your opponent. When the opponent exposes his lack of intellectual capacity or goes silent that is when the debate has been won.

Where's the sources for your conspiracy theory that approx 20 people conspired to invade Iraq, convincing the U.S. Congress & world allies to join in solidarity? And to date no one has written a book (which everyone seems to have  a tell all book) regarding your claims?

What do you do for a living Money? Are you a CEO, doctor or lawyer?

Just saying something over and over and louder in different ways doesn't make it correct. If facts are truly presented then the intellectually honest person without an agenda will change their mind. You just don't completely make your case is all. A conspiracy or coverup is something that is factually exposed by folks admitting they did it or were in on it. Or proving with the facts that there is no viable alternative. There are many papers, books, and movies written about a lot of these conspiracy things; not many people take them seriously even though they sound very convincing.  The intellectually honest and non-weakminded person will admit when they are wrong or what they say cannot be proven. You don't want to admit you may be wrong. I have no problem admitting I am wrong when presented with facts. Until then I will wait until the facts expose this conspiracy, then I will join in calling for war crimes, etc. Until then I will continue to believe that honest, sincere world leaders, provided with what they felt was true intel did the best they could to do the right thing for USA and the world in a very trying time.
