The best wall I have ever seen was the Oman-U.A.E. border in 2011. UAE wanted to stop pirating (selling goods past tariff border agents) and Oman had been doing that for centuries. The border fencing is sleek modern, cemented in 8 feet at the bottom from both sides (prevents tunneling or lifting) and is a strong metal chain link fencing that is electrified. There is no way to scale an electrified fence! It stood very high, at least 20 feet but I cannot recall. The border is alerted right away of any activity new the fence. Their vehicles can respond along the perimeter because of the concrete near the fencing. It has cameras all along. They SHOULD copy this fencing. NONE goes past this fence.
