It's just funny that you would post this yet continue to support the right wing and free market economic theory. Like I said, I'm sure this time republicans won't support policies that soley benefit the rich and instead give you the version of the free market you've been hearing about for thirty years. It is possible remember, just look at the rich history of success the free market has had in the past....

Did you support GWB when he was talking about the free market?

What you dont understand is that the free market ideology has been a mask for corporate welfare, cronyism and special deals for decades, and in many peoples mind it has become one and the same.

and yes, Dems are the same as Repubs, and nobody is offering any real change.

Add GE to the ZERO TAX list............... wow.... 7,000 tax returns and no US Income Tax.  Reported 10 billion profit offshore with a 400 million loss domestically.  Wonder where they deducted their R&D and overhead?

So when they (current repubs) advocate for free market economics are you for or against against it? Right now.

Who is fighting financial reform and who is in favour? Are they both the same?

What part of the country is screeming bloody murder and 'Socialism' at any attempt to shift the policy and psyche away from free market corporate cronyism toward a regulated sustainable economic model? Please.

Wake up, they are far from the same.

Just because you have been lied to for 30 years...

Just because you don't like what the free market actually stands for...

Just because you don't agree with what the free market is in practice compared to theory...

Does not give you the right to change what the free market is and stands for.

Sorry to dissapoint.

You can cry about it all you want, but the fact remains the free market is and always has stood for corporate cronyism, and it is not my fault that you stubbornly refuse to accept it.

I could better answer your question if you were to tell me who's idea of a free market you are talking about.

If we are talking about R. Paul  then I agree with a great deal of what he supports.

If we are talking about guys like McCain and his idea of a free market, I see no difference between the Dems.

What specific Republicans and what specific "free market" tactics are we talking about. you are trying to lump a group of dissimilar people together and call their collective actions in favor of a "free market" 

it is a little confusing.

again.  the corporate welfare ,  handouts, crony capitalism, back room deals, most of our monetary policy, state intervention through licensing excess taxes etc are all outside of the realm of  true "free markets" .
