I have somewhat stepped away from cable. Going to completely disconnect cable the Monday after the Masters. I turned on tv today for the 1st time in 3 days to watch The Players. Currently on hold with Sirius to upgrade my plan for all of their sports. Going antenna for television. Getting back to the price of gas in California. This obviously will hurt the finances of many families. Personally I am ok. 90% of everything I do is within 10 miles. Gas in NE Illinois is $4.59.

Cut the cable in our home 3 years ago and don’t miss TV at all. All the bickering “news contributors” we can definitely do without. They divide us and it’s done with purpose.
Sanctions will work if given time. It will bankrupt the Russian economy just like Reagan did to win the Cold War. Outspend them while they are stuck in a Ukrainian quagmire.
I will gladly spend more money for gasoline if it means not having to put boots on the ground in battle overseas. Stand up for America and keep our forces strong and safe.
Paid $4.99 / gal for 93 octane today. This is going to get worse before it gets better. The Corporate Fukks will be sure to gouge us civilians.
Lastly, it makes no difference how much oil gets pumped if you don’t have enough refineries to produce the gasoline. This is how Big Oil controls pricing and they’ve been doing it forever.

US is still energy independent under Biden. US energy exports remain greater than imports. Despite being the world's top oil producer, US continues to buy foreign oil because it is cheaper. But imports have been declining since 2005. Besides, energy independence is more expensive. To improve energy independence, US would have to develop renewable energy sources such as wind and solar.
