The Swede (DJT until he gets over the Pocahontas thing) has not tweeted all morning. Is he in the can puking up over Michael Flynn flipping on him? Anyone embracing the domino theory yet? Looks like the Swede and his cohorts think they are better at the cover up than Nixon and his crowd.

Yeah if this were 4 yrs ago we would have ten threads about it by now.

The amusing part that I see out there is his supporters are falling back on silly retorts about Clinton did this and how come she isnt prosecuted and the dates were too late (even though he had not been sworn in yet) all the technicalities typical of covering for the joker.

Lying to the FBI is going to get someone in trouble and if Flynn has something to say, who knows what might come out...maybe nothing, maybe something.

I consider this akin to these sex scandal events...I dont care which party or person is referenced, if the guy broke the law then he deserves to be kicked out, if not and they close up the investigation then that would also be the correct conclusion.

I dont get the anger that his supporters have about anyone who crosses his path...its psychotic and very indicative of severe bias issues.

the one thing you can know for sure based on flynn's charge and plea, he is cooperating with the prosecution.  but, just about everybody does, who gets a chance, so this shouldn't be a big surprise.

Are you guys stating that Trump was not allowed to talk to Russians? Greatest farce in the history of United States politics. All emanating from the criminal and treasonous Left.

Read the indictment and get off the alt alt alt right wing blogs and maybe you will see what it is about.

I did read the indictment. 

It still remains unclear why the Obama Justice Department decided to investigate Flynn. There was nothing wrong with the income NS advisor meeting with Russians. 

If the FBI had FISA recordings of Flynn’s conversations with Kislyak, there was no need to ask Flynn what the conversation entailed. 

Flynn is prepared to testify that Trump or Kushner directed home to make contact with the Russians - initially to lay the ground work for mutual efforts against ISIS in Syria. 

The penalty for what Flynn has been charged with is 0-6 months in jail and a fine up to $9000. 

Nothingburger.

i'll disregard the assumptions but note that that is not the penalty for this charge.  however, it is a minor charge which should tell you that flynn is doing some serious cooperating.

his guideline range will likely be 0-6 months.  but that is not the  penalty range.  that's just a suggestion.  the guidelines don't suggest fines. 

at the end of the day, as long as he cooperates, he's not likely to go to jail for this.  he's getting a very good deal, unless he f*cks it up.

Stay tuned. During the campaign and transition the candidates and electees have no authority whatsoever to discuss sanctions and/or political coordination with any foreign power. The only one getting a bigger laugh out of your opinions than me is Vladimir Putin. He has got the Swede exactly where he wants him, an incompetent amateur playing emperor on the world stage. 

It may be early but I have to wonder how many Republican congresspersons and senators will be asking the Swede to come to their home states and districts to campaign for them. His coattails weren't very long (non-existent) in Virginia and Alabama won't count, due to the stacked conditions in place there.
