More water evaporates from reservoirs than is consumed by humans.  Global warming will certainly exacerbate this.

Too bad we learned in another thread that temperatures have actually been flat for the last 12 years....thats the reason Obama's Whitehouse was reluctant to release data to conservative group seeking it.

please please please don't ever type such hypocritical bullshitt again Mr Mod.  How many times did a conservative poster hear 'it was Bush's fault' when arguing over Obama with nary a protest from you Mr Moderator???

as for the topic, no one on here is an expert, and neither is Trump.  yes Trump gives some ridiculous responses, but i rather have his answers compared to the gems Hillary has put forth (ie- Benghazi).

I voted for Kasich in the primary, and will pick the lesser of the two evils (imo) trump in the presidential election.  but let's face it, both candidates leave a lot to be desired.

Kinda sad this forum has always been handled this way.  Biggest hypocrite on the site but don't worry nobody can do anything about it.  If Trump wins it'll be four years of this crap.

12 years is too short as a reliable measure of climate. Claims of a hiatus in global warming have proven to be false according to US National Academy of Science, Wikipedia and World Meteorological Organization.

The issue is that both sides will find data to support their views. And as one of these articles points out--- does a longer cooler (non-warming) period since the last warming (non-cooling) period say anything about the trend?
But one of them is an interesting read on cooling. But there are very good reads either way.  But as one points out the models assume a link between CO2 and warming trends.

I've been saying this for years.....how simple would it be to pump water from the Mississippi River to California?
If oil can be pumped from Canada to Houston!
But I know all you environmentalists would have a problem pumping water because if there was a leak all cahos would break out!!

I've been saying this for years.....how simple would it be to pump water from the Mississippi River to California?
If oil can be pumped from Canada to Houston!
But I know all you environmentalists would have a problem pumping water because if there was a leak all cahos would break out!!

Great point! Ive also talked about pumping seawater back into some of the desert parts of Northern Africa....refilling aquifers and perhaps changing rainy cycles.

Claims of global cooling or warming hiatus don't stand up to scrutiny according to American Meteorology Society.  Although globalresearch claim global cooling in 2008, their recent articles now acknowledge manmade global warming.

Forbes claim of cooling outlasting warming is based on incorrect data.  Atmosphere temperature is counted but not oceans which absorb over 90% of heat.  Empirical evidence shows that even though climate varies from decade to decade, global warming still hasn't stopped despite cool periods according to National Ocean and Atmosphere administration.

Forbes article is from Heartland Institute discredited for spreading false propaganda by National Center for Science Education.   Heartland Institute opposes settled science to serve coal and oil corporations. Since so few climate scientists deny global warming, non-climate experts from other fields are hired.  For example, article is written by a lawyer.  According to Wikipedia, their list of scientists is dubious because some are added without permission.
