“What is your criteria to educate the educators?” Rice asked. “And who are you to educate my children—or any of our children—in life issues? That’s our job. Your job is to teach them math and science. Our job is to teach them about life.”..I could not have said it better myself...this guy deserves applause and more

GOP activists are posing as concerned parents opposed to critical race theory at school board meetings according to NBC and watchdog Media matters. What they are angry about isn't even real. CRT isn't taught in elementary or high schools. For decades, CRT has been taught in hundreds of colleges and universities in the US. Usually a small part of US history course and optional for students.
Sadly, education is politicized by GOP politicians painting CRT as boogeyman to be feared. But politicians aren't education experts and shouldn't dictate what should be taught in schools. Polls show most people trust teachers far more than politicians. American federation of teachers oppose bans on teaching accurate history. Bans are unlikely to survive if challenged in courts.
The US is great because Americans recognize their failures and overcome them instead of dangerously hiding or whitewashing the truth. Also Gateway pundit is a controversial source known for promoting fake news and conspiracy theories.

You are once again absolutely correct! The GOP activists have been rightly exposed. It's all a RACIST-based con.

Just this week, the Manhattan Institute’s Christopher Rufo reported that 30 public school districts in 15 states are teaching a book, Not My Idea, that tells readers that “whiteness” leads white people to make deals with the devil for “stolen land, stolen riches, and special favors.” White people get to “mess endlessly with the lives of your friends, neighbors, loved ones, and all fellow humans of color for the purpose of profit,” the book adds.
