November election results and polls suggest most Americans disapprove of Trump policies as being bad for US economy.  He has ruined the strong economy inherited from Biden.  Monthly jobs creation has been decreasing since Trump took office.  Two longest and most damaging government shutdowns occurred under his administration.  Instead of working to end shutdown, he refuses to negotiate.  Layoffs in October are the worst of any month in decades according to outplacement firm Challenger Grey.

Another brilliant part of Trump's Legacy will be his  " most favored- nation pricing" on GLP- 1s for America's citizens.

Well if you are so happy about GLP-1 price lowering - maybe we should have a moment of silence for the country that invented it and lowered their prices for you - “You welcome that what’s friends do” (maybe you can remember that fact when you joke and laugh about illegally annexing part of our country - that would be cool) 

 Two important facts, although the MAGA bubble is completely unaware of both of course....Grocery and home energy prices still rising and THAT - along with HEALTH CARE INSURANCE COSTS - are where most non-wealthy Americans feel it most. Rents are still high but have stabilized somewhat, yet this still makes it difficult to make ends meet for a massive percentage of our non-wealthy households.

Of course, should the republicans win their battle to take away affordable health care from 43 MILLION Americans, then the affordability crisis for many if not the majority of non-wealthy Americans will get MUCH, MUCH WORSE.

I work in the pharma industry.  Waiting for the shoe to drop on the long term side effects for those who use GLP-1's as a weight loss drug.  America is an obese country, it only makes sense the pharma industry would want more people on their drugs.  I just don't buy it as a long term solution for people's weight problems.  Even when you hit the weight, keeping that weight off is a chore in itself.  

Somehow you Europeans always seem to just fade away in business matters. Eli Lily now dominates this space and is headquartered in Indiana

Yeah, I'm not so sure about the side effects either. Novo Nordisk is basically playing with play money at this point. They could sue Eli Lilly into oblivion if they wanted to, but they don't. They're not a "normal" company in the American sense. They're actually trying to help the world. Almost all of their profits are tied to a nonprofit organization. They deliberately gave Eli Lilly (and others) permission to make copy products and they have until now only focused on meeting the demand from the "Western world." They could easily sue Eli Lilly (if they didn't stop selling their alternative), say fuck Trump and his tariffs policies, and focus on the Asian and European markets. You guys would have done that if the roles were reversed because they couldn't meet the demand anyway, even though they have millions of employees. I guess we're just better people than you because we want to help the countries that need it the most and have the money.

None of the companies you just mentioned invented anything? They either enhanced or lowered the cost of something that was already there -  something that was invented over here for the majority of the mentioned (Microsoft being the odd exception) - just for your information

Unintended consequence of US tariff and sanction threats force countries to diversify away from US dollar.  Important for dollar to remain world currency because US benefits greatly from cheap debt and imports.
