FIFA is one of the most corrupt organizations in the world - I would mostly be concerned what Trump has been willing to pay for this or what he has promised to do as repayment for the favour - knowing the going rate for their corruption - this hasn’t been cheap

I think most people just are hit by second hand embarrassment - it is kind of pathetic that an adult need that amount of attention and justification from strangers - most soccer fans haven’t liked FIFA since WC in Dubai
Trump fan Kevin O'Leary was quoted to credit Trump for bringing hundreds of millions in economic activity by having FIFA events in the USA and had to be slapped in the face to understand that said events were here no matter what award Trump placed on himself or who he cozied up to. It is multiple years of planning not just that Trump magically brought soccer events here.
And what will ALL OF EUROPE do?

So does it bother you that the leader of this country needs to create ways he can get attention and that he actually placed that over his own neck because it was of no purpose and there were no candidates but him for this "award"?
This reminds me of when my kiddo was in Taekwondo many years back, the owners schemed awards to keep the attention of the young kids who paid to participate, it was not about a real accomplishment or meaningful event it was just a way to motivate children. This scam is a joke and makes Trump look like the zero ego idiot I know he is.
The guy is probably terminal - and maybe will last a year - let the kid have his award imo - everyone with enough money to spend could have brought this - FIFA would have given it to Genghis Khan - so I wouldn’t waste 1 sec. being mad over this it is mostly pathetic that he will buy something like that and he wouldn’t change his way for better or worse not having received this - so I would consider it a “whatever”
Yes it is like when the little leagues give every player an award, making up your own award after he has been crying for someone to give him something . I think he added a couple more wars to the list of his suppose wars he has ended this year. Reality none, his claims now have to be up to 13 wars ended at least.

I expect nothing less from a MAGA supporter! You would rather cut bait with our allies? We have a President that could give a rats ass about any part of the constitution that interferes with his agenda regardless of legality or precedent! Not good and not what the middle of the road voters want either! Please remember not long ago the USSR used to have a very liberal constitution that guaranteed the citizens all sort of civil rights .Didn’t help any? …..Midterms can’t come soon enough!
