Trump’s braindead lie about the Unabomber: dementia or outright lying?

Trump tells a long, very detailed story about how he asked his uncle, a MIT professor, about the Unabomber, and their Q and A that ensued.

The only problem is that:

- the Unabomber never went to MIT

- Trump’s uncle died in 1985

- the Unabomber’s identity wasn’t discovered until 1996

- everything the President said is an easily-disproven lie, yet it looks like he entirely believes this story is real

- Trump slurs right through “Kaz-shins-ky” multiple times 

- Trump’s uncle didn’t have degrees in “nucleah, chemical, and math”

- he clearly has dementia

- I can’t imagine why anyone would be ok with Dementia J Trump being president. It’s why millions of Republicans, centrists, and Democrats think he is unfit for office.

Are Republicans, centrists, and Dems all libs? According to MAGA, yes.

Trump’s hubris to try to make everything about him. If you speak to someone with real cognitive difficulties, you’ll notice that they start melding their real/actual past with other famous events that they had nothing to do with. It’s often not intentional. But if you read dementia literature, they advise relatives of said people to avoid confronting them about their lies - it just makes them defensive, hostile, and upset. Sound a lot like Trump when he gets confronted with an old quote he doesn’t like.
