Trump Organization chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg surrendered to the Manhattan district attorney's office Thursday morning ahead of expected criminal charges against him and the company in connection with alleged tax crimes, his attorney told CNN.

A Manhattan grand jury filed the indictments Wednesday, and they are set
to be unsealed Thursday around 2 p.m. ET, according to two sources familiar
with the matter. The precise type or number of charges they are expected
to face was not immediately clear.

The district attorney's indictment would be the first to charge trump's namesake
company, the Trump Organization, for conduct that occurred when *HE* led it.

The indictment of the Trump Organization is the product of more than
two years of investigation by the district attorney, Cyrus Vance Jr.,
a probe that began with questions about accounting practices tied to
hush-money payments made by former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen
and eventually led to a Supreme Court fight over a subpoena for Trump's tax documents.

An indictment of Weisselberg would intensify the pressure for him
to cooperate with prosecutors in their wide-ranging investigation
of Trump, the company and its executives.

Aren't you the one always talking about draining the swamp? The deep-state? Make no mistake, this is a political witch hunt but that doesn't mean anyone involved deserves sympathy. There are far more egregious things going on in corporate America but then again, the the kid selling a bag if drugs get much sympathy when he busted while the guy who sold him the drugs goes free? The system is fucked up and disjointed but a criminal is a criminal.

Umm no. Using money from your corporation to pay cash bonuses or for someones apartment isn’t a big deal and if it wasn’t Trump nobody would be in any trouble let alone criminal trouble.

Weisselberg evaded approximately "$556,385 in federal taxes, ... $106,568 in state taxes, and ... $238,159 in [NYC] taxes, and he falsely ... received approximately $94,902 in federal tax refunds and approximately $38,222 in state tax refunds, to which he was not entitled."

Low life thief. Pay your damn taxes! The Trump Crime Family kept at least 2 sets of books.

Since Weisselberg & his son were being paid off the books, what are the chances the Trump family were similarly compensated?

How about Ivanka's "Consulting fee" paid while she was an employee?

And Weisselberg did this all on his own????

    Nah!!!

It's going to be fun watching this onion get peeled away.

Will the feds go after Reverand Sharpton with the same fury they are going after the Trump Organization? Reverand Al owes an estimated 5m in taxes to the United States.

Tax fraud is tax fraud.  It must be pursued byany good government.

This just PROVES this is no "political witch hunt"   -- which is what the right claims every time they get caught in criminal activity.

Thanks for the update hoody. I know years ago it was estimated at 4-5M in owed taxes by the good Reverand. I agree. The feds will never go after Sharpton. We have a justice system that protects the Left and gloes after the Right with vengeance.

I will add that they were also talking about willie nelson and saying how they raided his house and owed 16 million and took his assets and said only part of this is true and that al only owed 4.5 million. I would bet Rev Jackson owes money.

Trump's Head of Security Bobby Calamari won't be indicted t his week.

However Calamari's assistants, Joey Escargot & Bobby "Oysters" Rockefeller, may not be so lucky & soon may be sleeping with the fishes.

no. The reverend is in the good graces of the white house. He has made arrangements to pay off his debt. And viewed similar to Joe Louis . Where he going? Really he is there.

As for the traitor Trump he is exiled yo southern Florida,  does his pool leak cause his property can look like Miami beach if he isn't careful. Chlorine and water in limestone can be catastrophic.

I agree with everything you've said, liberals only believe in free speech for them, when conservatives say something that liberals don't like (which is 90% of everything) they cry "hate speech." Freedom of speech should be for everyone!

Trump Organization chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg surrendered to the Manhattan district attorney's office Thursday morning ahead of expected criminal charges against him and the company in connection with alleged tax crimes, his attorney told CNN.

    cut from cnn website ::

New York federal prosecutors came to suspect the Trump Organization's chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, lied in testimony during their investigation of former Trump personal attorney Michael Cohen three years ago, according to four people familiar with prosecutors' thinking.

Despite their suspicions, federal prosecutors did not pursue perjury charges against Weisselberg, an_light but his past interactions with them could now become relevant to the Manhattan district attorney's office as it seeks his cooperation in a tax fraud case brought against Weisselberg and the company last month.
