Mr. Donald J Trump was hoping the newly added Justice Amy Coney Barret to the 6-3 GOP advantage in SCOTUS should help him wining the courts battle on the election. But it appears his devious scheme has met a rude awakening in the lower courts, with some 0-24 defeats.

Buck - Do you see the hypocrisy in your statement - As you stated, if these other people have committed crimes, then charge them and take them to trial.I agree 1000%. The point being,your saying Trump should be charged, PERIOD. Then on thee other hand your saying, anyone else should have to go through the process. The SAME justice should be applied to ALL on equal basis, correct! You sound like you agree with that. The bottom line IMHO is that most politicians are POS self-serving thieves. More controversial pardons expected in the near future.  Since self pardon is unconstitutional, Trump might resign in disgrace so that president Pence can pardon him.  A pardon is an admission of guilt.  Although Trump might escape federal offenses, he would still be vulnerable to state offenses.  Historically, no president has ever been imprisoned after leaving office.  Eventually, his influence should diminish among followers.  Also his businesses may be in trouble without previous revenue from governments and foreigners.   According to niece Mary, her uncle is unlikely to seek presidency in 2024 because of the risk of losing again.

Let's get back to the basics. Trump will not run in 2024. His 2 terms will have expired.

Trump will be handing the Presidential baton to either Ivanka or Don Jr. This has the potential to be a Trump Family Dynasty!
