Why does that make it different?
The crux of this current debate is whether different gun restriction laws impact death related to violent crimes. So why should we not use countries with varying gun ownership restrictions.
Again -- I am not anti-gun ownership. But if we are going to have a discussion than lets do it properly.

my point on this is that when attacks like what occurred recently in Connecticut with guns occur there are many people left dead whereas when a similar thing happened around that time (in China I believe) except that the weapon was a knife there were no casualties.
