3.  this has nothing to do with the safety of women.  if republicans cared about the safety of women, you know what they might try to fix which actually is related to that issue?  there is a backlog of rape kits that just sit around and never get tested in many states including NC.  why not get them tested and try to get some actual rapists off of the street?
