According to "Blue Lives matter" on Facebook, it looks like the suspect was resisting arrest. he was told to lie face down but didn't do so. The only way to handcuff is hands behind the back.
Takers were used but often fail against larger suspects. The webcam on the officers fell off because they are held only by magnets and fell off.
It looks bad though. Riots to ensue in Louisiana. Very large african american population there. Could get very bad.

Tazers fires twice, but did not get suspect to stop resisting.
His family has just won the lottery in his death. He hs five kids and he sells pirated CDs of some sort. Ambulance and hearse chasing lawyers are rushing to the scene.
This is teaching people that resisting arrest pays off.
Very sorry for the loss of life, but physically resisting needs to be handled this way. They did try tazers.
I support the officers here.

Funny how the forum is supposed to be about politics and specifically political betting... Maybe you Failed to grasp that.
Thanks for capping the county races in Louisiana for us Relax Dude. I'm sure this news will affect the local political races. If you are suggesting that we hop on specific candidates before the public catches on, then please be more specific.

Um, no I'm not. Let the mods do their job...if it's not political they'll move it. Quit trying to help them. They don't want the hèlp of a bigger liar than Hillary. You couldn't even be a used car salesman. Your lies are too easy to see through.

Just watched 3 different videos of this murder. Its only by the grace of God that those two brave officers were able to walk away unharmed.....That probably changes after their first night in jail.

"Following the shooting, one of the officers removed a gun from Sterling’s pocket. But Abdullah Muflahi, the owner and manager of the Triple S Store, told the Advocate that Sterling wasn’t holding a weapon — and his hands weren’t close to his pockets — during the altercation."
In my opinion, this is a murder. Let's see if the bastxrds in blue get away with it as usual.

The latest shooting in Minnesota is despicable and shocking. If this was just a nervous cop with no cultural training for dealing African American community, it is barely excusable. The video shot by the girlfriend is clearly a case of aggression and unecesary exaggerated force. No need to shoot five bullets into the guy. He stated he had a concealed weapon. This is what you should do. Then he was asked to get his ID, and he was shot five times. Holy cow. This is brutal. More police training needed and weed out the nervous wrecks. I hope this isn't racism.

I absolutely agree. Justice will be served in this case because I'm sure the officers last name is not Clinton.

7 unarmed Americans die from police everyday. I think this violence is colorblind. I'm sure someone will debate me on it. Fact is, in other developed countries this would be a major issue.

Well said RD......we will have better context when we know all the facts prior to what we saw on video but these are sad stories. I think that its likely that both of these incidents did not need to end with gunshots, but we will learn more in the coming days.

Police officers should be required to maintain prime physical condition to avoid the use of deadly force whenever possible. If two cops cannot control one man who is face down on his stomach without resorting to lethal force, there is something seriously wrong with their conditioning and/or training.

He was legally carrying a gun and told the cop that he was
Where is the NRA on this ?
Expecting the NRA be all over the Police for taking this man's right to "bear arms" by taking away his life.
Never mind Philando Castile was black

Yeah I would honestly take the use of force to inflict pain to subdue someone over blowing them away
