Protest marches and rallies have been waged across the US following a grim week of continued deadly police violence against unarmed African American and Hispanic youths with some demonstrations turning violent.
Thousands of people took part in protest activities -- staged Friday and some continuing into early Saturday morning – reported in a number of major US cities, including Oakland, Portland, Minneapolis, Chicago and Washington DC, which came in the wake of police killings of 20-year-old African American Daunte Wright in Minneapolis and 13-year-old Hispanic child Adam Toledo in Chicago.
Protesters in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center took part in the sixth straight night of rallies outside police headquarters with smaller demonstrations taking place in downtown Minneapolis.
Police officials had initially declined to declare an evening curfew, after quieter protests on the previous two nights, but following renewed clashes between protesters and police in Brooklyn Center -- during which local authorities claimed a fence around the heavily fortified police headquarters was breached -- an unlawful assembly was declared, resulting in the arrest of at least 100 protesters.
Now we have armed vigilantes patrolling Minneapolis suburbs looking for rioters.
What could possibly go wrong?
This is a powder keg. And the fuse is lit.
For media news outlets shooting fish in a wading pool the Sunday morning line ups I am sure will have this covered in its entirety.
Meanwhile I am watching Americans kill Americans at times just want to friggin cry.

Authorities said the man sped off and then suddenly stopped, tossed the Molotov cocktail at the officers, before fleeing a second time. He later crashed his car and was arrested. An additional Molotov cocktail was found inside the vehicle, according to Police Chief Rodney Harrison.
“Fortunately, our officers weren’t injured,” the New York Police Department said in a tweet, noting how the incident “proved once again that no traffic enforcement is ‘routine.’”
Harrison tweeted Saturday evening that the liquid thrown at the officer was bleach.
The incident happened just before 8 a.m. Charges are pending for the 44-year-old driver, whose name was not immediately released, 1010 WINS AM reported. The officer splashed with the chemical substance, according to the report, was treated for minor chemical burns.
Too illustrate a point all these guys stuck in cruisers listening to am air waves are being jammed with this. So next poor devil holding a slurp drink diffinately can expect some attitude.

Two Minnesota National Guard members on duty in the Twin Cities were injured early Sunday after being fired at in what authorities said was a drive-by shooting in Minneapolis.
The Guard said the injuries were minor. One Guard member was transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries from shattered glass; the other was treated at the scene for superficial wounds.
The Guard says the two were part of a "neighborhood security team" deployed in Minneapolis for Operation Safety Net, a multi-agency effort to provide security amid the ongoing Derek Chauvin trial. Operation Safety Net also has responded to protests over last weekend's fatal police shooting of Daunte Wright in Brooklyn Center.

Her chain of command reflect that office position. But they have agreed that tear gas and pepper spray should not be used
The return of fire arms I believe is under the standard rules of engagement given all army personal. You are able to respond to being fired upon as authorization to exchange gunfire.
But again its Minnesota national guard so their maybe additional regulations given for this exact situation.
Minnesota governor is charge of the guard.
