anr and aci equities are each up 4%+ .   those are PRO ROMNEY STOCKS.   That is where the REAL $$$ is going today in equities.   And treasuries are down big....all you chalk eaters laying -400 and calling it easy $$ should be sweating it hard right now.

good point dimedimenickel....treasuries are getting hammered....

crude oil is up 3 bucks and gold is up 31 dollars...looks to me like the institutional investors are done surpressing energy prices and gold.

Those crude oil and gold bets are end game bets.......

that doesnt make sense to me

how would so called tighter monetary policy lead equities higher?

id expect the opposite, as that would mean continued credit contraction in the aggregate, which means lower prices.

As I read it ..on USA Today "The perception around the world is if Obama is re-elected the deficit will keep going up and there will be a lack of fiscal discipline" and the opposite if Romney wins......

the ignorance on matters of such importance, is overwhelming.

posts twenty seven and twenty eight suggested treasuries are down big and treasuries are getting hammered. i guess people dont understand that rates on tbills have inverse relation to their price. lower rates mean treasuries are getting more expensive, not getting hammered. there is literally unlimited demand for tbills

dimedimenickel is all over it...  there are no squares or degenerates sinking money into stocks or equities..  because obama goes from 260 to 340 on 5dimes  or from 140 to 240 in a particular state doesnt hold as much weight because it is square money

10yr is down 1/2 a point.  30yr down 3/4 of a point.  in $$, price.  yields going higher.  Hammered is in PRICE.   tbills who gives a sh!t about tbills, they are instruments of short duration.

There was virtually NO discussion of reducing the debt during.  Sure the candidates mentioned it fleetingly, just to please the masses.  But they NEVER explained HOW this was going to happen, Romney included.

Be Easy- Unlimited demand for T-bills??????

Better check your loop Frenchie......if China ever decides to dump a portion of the Tbills they own on the market in order to hedge the their sizeable bond postition, the Feds won't be able to give that shit away.

The only thing that makes USA T-bills worth anything is the perception that our country and government are bulletproof.  With the recent downgrading of our credit ratings as a nation, that will certainly change.

Unless of course they decide to back a new version of the T-bill with somesort of collateral.....a likely canidate could be the massive amount of homes that the Federal govenment now owns due to restructuring of lenders' balance sheets and the dissolution of certain mortgage backed security markets. Or toll roads....could be anything really.

I agree with you that NDAA is the monster under the bed..

With all due respect to your sweetheart, it must have been nice to take a republican to bed and doing what you want.

Those crude oil and gold bets are end game bets.......

This means they are betting on Obama.  Obama and Bennie have trashed the dollar and that is why Gold Silver and Oil are where they are.  Keep printing money and these will all go up.  And unfortuantely our dollar is worth less.  Thanks assholes
