Would you congratulate me if you were President and I refused your wishes, then you circumvent me ? I think not, oops,  knowing you, you probably would.

    That is against all protocol.

It work for him, he was re-elected. But it is not forgotten, trust me. What goes around comes back at you.

    Don,

The job of the President of the United States of America is to represent all the people of this country......Obama's personal feelings toward Israel and esp. their newly elected Prime Minister Netenyahu ,,should not get in the way of our countries President not congratulating an ally on his victory..

This goes against the grain of what America represents.. this is not who we are ..Don.

Obama finally called after two day's of being all wee wee'd up...huh.

I can picture Obama telling Bibi ... I was reading the newspaper today and I just found out you won..and was planning on calling and congratulate you as soon as I finished my brackets...

While you two were talking did you ask him why he want's to levy sanctions against Israel an ally..and at the same time lift the sanctions on Iran and active state sponsor of terrorism ?

If you did and got a clear answer ,,,did you ask him a follow up question...  Why did he remove Iran and Hezbollah from the terror list ?

Hezbollah’s main tactic is the use of suicide bombers and like Iran supports the destruction of the state of Israel...

The middle class income is NOT just fine...when you factor in the cost of living.   Period !

People cannot living on 7.50 an hour

Sara, you ignoramus ..  Do you see the word, Period ?

In other words, middle class people cannot go down to 7.50 an hour, which is where they are headed.

Marty come on now....   You gotta do better than that.  Even the rationalization of it seems silly when you word it like that.  Middle class is not headed down to 7.50---even though you didn't mean that.

    Question for the liberals...

Do wealthy politicians, union leaders and entertainers have credibility with you when they say "the rich aren't paying their fair share"? The reason I ask is because I'm not going to listen to someone telling me the system isn't fair while they are living in a mansion and driving a $100K car.

Rich Republicans live in mansions and also have fancy cars but they aren't being hypocritical when it comes to lavish lifestyles.

The system isn't fair.."One of the biggest issues we face is income inequality Hillary Clinton told a liberal think tank in Washington today .."We need solutions to income inequality"

Say's the Democrat presumed Presidential front runner..who just finished 9 months of six-figure fees for speeches and who with her husband have a net worth of over .. 100 million dollars..

Exactly my point from post #117.

She fly's on a private jet and I fly coach (when I do fly)

She lives in a mansion (probably more than one) and I have a mortgage on a house in a middle class suburb.

She has personal chefs and I might eat at Outback or Appleby's once a week.

She has housekeepers, a butler, a chauffeur, and numerous assistants and I have to clean my own house, drive my own car, and answer my own phone.

And she's the one talking about income inequality.
