How do you feel HRC did in her acceptance speech?
    What about Trump?

Is there anyone here capable of being biased in their assessment of their speeches?

Personally, I felt that HRC was uninspiring, as did most of those at the convention, and certainly Bill did, as he seemed to fall asleep.

Trump was more impassioned, and I felt did a much better job of engaging the viewers.

As per numerous fact-checking sites, both candidates were full of sh!t, but that is just politics as usual, so no need to discuss that.

Is there a single conservative who felt HRC's speech was better?
A single liberal who felt Trump's speech was better?

I will venture a guess that this thread will consist of my post and some crickets

IMO she is every bit as bad an orator as her husband and Barry are good.

She has to force what comes naturally to those two. Trump, is a notch below Mr Soetoro and Monicas former boyfriend...but he is way better than this pay for play queen.

The good:  she hit the points she needed to hit; started out pretty well, but...

The bad: it was too long (they always are); she became more and more shrill as the speech went on; a little Hillary goes a long way; she'd have been well served to stick to 40 minutes with more smiling and less lecturing.

Did anyone see a CNN poll right after Hillary gave her speech ?

CNN did a poll immediately following Trump's speech last week, it showed that people who watched the speech viewed it very favorably ..something like 74%.

    .

No,, I didn't ask about overall finding ..it was what viewers told CNN in a poll immediately after Hillary's speech...

Trumps speech had more viewers. Less people watched. Even less watched the creepy story of predator and rapist Billie bob and how he seduced Hillary----CREEEEEEEPY. Leftists hated it more, be ause it showed Hillary is what she is BECAUSE she hooked up with William the rising star and rapist.

Of course Trump would get more viewers....  the "Howard Stern" theory in effect...   People want to see what he'll say next.

Anyone catch his weird Town Hall speech today?   WTF was he talking about?   Dude is crazy.  Loves hearing and saying his own name

Of course Trump would get more viewers....  the "Howard Stern" theory in effect...   People want to see what he'll say next.

CNBC -  Hillary Clinton did not make any major gaffes or glaring mistakes in her big speech to close the Democratic National Convention Thursday night. But by playing it extremely safe and leaving the nation with really only one clear message from the address — Donald Trump is bad — she has left the door wide open for Trump to win the election in November.

Thursday night was Clinton's best chance to make the election at least partly about something other than Trump, and she blew it.

Read this with regard to the conventions.

It ain't pretty for the GOP...

CNBC seems pro Trump as i watch it, bunch of anchors sound pulling for Trump. But they fail to realize Trump stands for protectionism which scares away business, and stock market fares much better in Democratic president years than GOP counterparts.

    Europa,

If,you only remember Rick Santelli's rant or Larry Kudlow's comments,, then I can understand your feeling about CBCN ,but it proved that is not the case during the 3rd Republican Presidential debate ,,,which they moderated..a host started the debate by asking Trump if his campaign was a comic book and later compared his ideas to a bird flying away..

Comment by President of the Media Research Center, Brent Bozell who personally had endorsed Ted Cruz for President :

"The CNBC debate will go down in history as an encyclopedic example of liberal media bias on stage.  The audience roared its disdain for these so-called 'journalists,' and all of America heard it.  CNBC should be embarrassed for their pitiful display of partisan liberal media bias and apologize to the GOP candidates and the American people."

Other than Santelli or Kudlow, I can tell few anchors who are more of favoring Trump in CNBC.

But it's ok for them to back Trump, everyone has his or her choices on politics. i've voted for Bush and Obama, just point out CNBC has pro Trump bias from my perspective, i tell you that GOP will defeat HRC more likely with John Kasich rather than with Donald Trump.

John Kasich would have made Hillary a better Democrat VP than Tim Kaine..........

Kasich was beating HRC handily in the polls earlier in the year, but Trump wins big time in the GOP primary. No question, Trump is the heavy choice of many Republicans, will he prevail in the General Campaign? We shall see.
