This would seem likely if it happened but would that then cause any significant reversal in Putin's actions in Ukraine, is the question. Maybe if it happened to the majority of his rich allies but probably not if only a handful.

Well we can hope for that. Ultimately if Putin gets pressure form inside his circle to withdraw, he likely will look for a way to save face then withdraw.
But that's a big if. We can't target their oil without severely hurting most of Europe. So that is off the table as is the military option. More targeted sanctions and critical isolation appears to be the more effective method at this point.

I agree. It has affected a few rather quickly and I saw a report suggesting nearly a dozen oligarchs had been significantly hit.

Another ETF to watch is PALL.
it the only ETF that I know of for the precious metal Palladium. Since most of the worlds supply of this metal is produced by Russia it will be interesting to track.
While Silver grew by 4% today, Gold by 2.5%, Palladium grew by only 1.5%.
Palladium is supposed to be 30 times rarer than Gold. Its primarily used in catalytic converter production. Hence the reason thieves cut them out of cars.

A reporter mentioned she had a list of a dozen but it wasn't presented on that clip so will have to check.

Biden's state of the union stated that he and other countries are seriously going after the oligarchs wealth. They'll get a lot of it too!

The dominoes are falling.
There's even a non-profit effort exposing all the Russian oligarch's assets worldwide.
