    @BigGame90

     How about using another word other than retarded? Those with learning disabilities did not choose to be so.

    You're a big boy; you can do it!

    HEADLINES TODAY:

    Biden-led coalition of sanctions
    having early, heavy impact

    As Western sanctions led by U.S. President Biden take root, Russians are bracing for a dramatic shift in their standard of living as their savings diminish in value and imports of everyday goods are quickly being cut off.

    Over the past week, several Western companies have abandoned their Russian operations to avoid running afoul of sanctions. They’re also heading off potential PR quagmires that could result from maintaining ties to a country that’s increasingly seen as a pariah on the global stage.

    Compounding the economic pain, two of the world’s biggest container shipping companies, Maersk and MSC, said they are halting cargo bookings to and from Russia, with the exception of food, medicine and humanitarian supplies.

    @Midnight1

     These other posters should use another word besides competent. Everyone knows he's clearly far from it. But yes, you're right. I apologize for using that word. What about boneheaded, dunce, imbecile, fool, doofus, yahoo, halfwit, or dope?  Which one works for you?

    Biden admin added 678,000 jobs in February, smashing forecasts

    an_cheers

    New York, CNN Business —

    "It's mindbogglingly fast and sustained growth —
    well over half a million jobs added per month
    on average for more than a year!!"  Heidi Shierholz,
    president at the Economic Policy Institute, wrote on Twitter.

    an_light More than nine out of every 10 jobs lost during the 2020
    pandemic recession [under trump]  have been regained.

    @fubah2

     Are wages keeping pace with inflation!? Let's see what kind of BS answer you can come up with....

    from the WSJ- Wages don’t spiral up during inflation; they spiral down as higher prices eat away paychecks. The dollar amounts on paychecks will rise, but not fast enough for their real value to outpace inflation. The recent stories of wage increases came not long after the government announced prices increased 7% in the past year. A more accurate headline for coverage of Labor’s report last Friday would have been “Real Wages Drop 3%.”

    Real inflation is actually closer to 15% if you go on the old standard of calculation. They had to change the calculations otherwise there would be outrage is people knew the true inflation was over 10% and closer to 15%.

    Good job democrats for forcing people to stay home from work and limiting production.

    @BigGame90

     HAHAHA...those were some pretty good slurs that could be used describing many in Congress.

    Regarding wages, it really ticks me off that with some corporations reporting record profits, wages are not being reflected in the excellent company performance. Some are sharing the wealth but they are far too few doing this.

    Just trying to bring a little laugh, not 100% insults. I also agree, a speaker could easily fit them all.

    I think record profits are only off the back of inflation and "free" money from the gov't which will be paid back from tax payers. Inflation is just another form of tax without calling it a tax, just like obamacare.  So while profits look great on paper now, they also show in consumer debts that magically is never mentioned from MSM because it's a huge problem.  You know corporations will never raise wages unless forced to do so. IMO if corporations can pay lobbyists, they should be forced to raise wages based on inflation.

    Peter Doocy yelled out the question, “Do you think inflation is a political liability in the midterms?” The president didn’t hesitate and responded, “That’s a great asset – more inflation.” He then called Doocy a “stupid son of a bitch” for having asked a question about inflation during a press spray about a meeting Biden was having on inflation.

    This is when a dunce and imbecile speaks the words out loud when he's supposed to keep them in his pea sized brain. This is the sentiment from the democratic government. They'll tell you one thing to make you feel good meanwhile they're really hiding their evilness.  Notice how the left are all about feelings? Feelings can change, feelings can be lied to.

    "stupid son of a bitch" comment was supposed to stay in his head as well, he was only speaking about himself for actually speaking.

    Government and inflation = asset

    American people (and people of the world) and inflation = liability

    What kind of moron would actually say inflation is an asset?! Such a dumb dumb knuckle head pedo.

    @thirdperson

     That's a solid point.  Some small scale efforts in that direction have shown to be very positive.  Hopefully it would work the smae way in practical applications in much larger cities.

    I recall reading an article about this last year where a mid sized town in NJ actually found crime rates dropped significantly as a result of adopting those measures to repurpose some funds from police budgets to professionals better trained to resolve the issues, such as domestic abuse, etc.
