Actually, these test kits are constrained because large companies & schools bought these in bulk during the spring in lieu of students & employees returning to their premises. Like anything covid related, accuracy of these tests are also improving.
So if these tests are garbage as you say, I'm surprised we haven't heard purchasers bitch about the products being relatively useless.
