Times are hard out there . We need a man for the people . I’m not quite sure Biden is it . Neither is Trump in my opinion . Too much stress out there for the majority of people . Too much angst , anxiety , anger , and depression . The way that things are currently set up is making people unhappier by the day . You can see that in this very forum . Too much animosity . It would be the first time in history that a US president is impeached without any just reason other than retribution for their guy being impeached on multiple serious offenses including sedition.

The FED is never right, they look at measures which are not centered in the economy and they have little control over inflation with their dull tools. The market today loves the move away from rate increases to neutral or rate cuts and that is why the SPX is higher but with lower rate expectations there will be two issues- first is oil will go higher as you see today and that has nothing to do with Biden rather if the USD rate relative to other currencies is LOWER then the currency is weaker and oil relative to other currencies is more expensive. The second issue is if the FED thinks that the economy is slowing and the fact they are never right it could mean a recession possibility is coming and that also could be why oil dropped so much this last month, that there is potential for a reduction in demand.

Los Angeles times reveal Biden administration plan to require drug companies to lower prices for drugs with patents partially owned by government. These are drugs that wouldn't exist if not for government funding of research and development. New drugs won't do much good if they are priced so high that insurers won't cover them. Americans should have access to drugs that their taxes paid for.
