Yes Biden has done alot to improve the image of America. peace_5

    Fighting inflation

    Washington, DC CNN —

The Federal Reserve raised its benchmark lending rate
    by a quarter point Wednesday.

It’s the 11th rate increase since the Fed began
its inflation fight in March 2022, and comes
just one month after the central bank hit pause
in order to assess the state of the economy.

Fed officials are estimating one more rate hike
this year, according to their latest set of projections.

Inflation’s steady slowdown in recent months
has been encouraging for American consumers
and businesses, but officials reiterated in their
post-meeting statement that “inflation remains elevated”
and that the Fed “remains highly attentive to inflation risks,”
suggesting that another rate hike remains on the table.

Lets just ignore the fact that household debts, from 2020-current are on the same increasing rate as 2004/05-2008. In fact, it's a steeper increasing rate. This rate of increase is the most since the housing crash. BuT eVeRyThInG iS fInE! Do 5 minutes of research, please. Stop believing your left leaning sites.

US economy defies recession fears with strong second-quarter performance

    REUTERS -  an_cheers

President Joe Biden said the GDP report was evidence
that his economic plan was working.
"We're just getting started," the Democratic president said.

Stocks on Wall Street were trading higher

The dollar rose against a basket of currencies.
    U.S. Treasury prices fell.

Consumer spending, which accounts for more than two-thirds
of U.S. economic activity, increased at a 1.6% pace in the
second quarter and it was enough to add more than a full
    percentage point to GDP growth!

Spending is being propped up by excess savings accumulated during the COVID-19 pandemic This could not be further from the truth.

US economy defies recession fears with strong second-quarter performance- Biden admin changed the definition of a recession. Don't believe, look it up.

They spent more on services like housing and utilities,- Which, ironically doesn't get taking into account when it comes to inflation. Gee, I wonder why??

There were also increases in spending on financial services, mostly portfolio and investment advice  an_roll_laughSureee when everyone's standard of living is increasing, they are spending more on investments, and NOT on the cost of living expenses.

So much lies in your statements. Just regurgitating MSM talking points to mask the truths.

Interest rates haven't even approached pre 911 levels and inflation is at 4 % Carters double digit emunemployment interest and inflation.... that was a recession.  But I a. This month is the planet’s hottest on record – by far – and hottest in around 120,000 years, scientists say

    CNN —

As vast swaths of three continents bake under blistering temperatures
and the oceans heat to unprecedented levels, scientists from two global
climate authorities are reporting before July has even ended that this
month will be the planet’s hottest on record by far.

The heat in July has already been so extreme that it is
“virtually certain” this month will break records
“by a significant margin,” the European Union’s
Copernicus Climate Change Service and the
World Meteorological Organization said in a report published Thursday.

We have just lived through the hottest three-week-period on record – and almost certainly in more than a 100,000 years.

Biden administration proposes measures to help protect workers from extreme heat.  More heat safety violation inspections in industries such as construction and agriculture.  Expansion of water storage and climate resilience.  Hazard alert system and improved weather forecasting.
