You really think the rural internet plan was Biden's idea? His idea is how to get up in the morning and make it through the day. I dont think he has many accomplishments in his entire political career that are his and his alone. I'm sure 100 plus politicians would correct your fallacy about Biden being instrumental for this or any political decision.

So why does this massive continent have issues with affordable internet? It might be due to the size, the mountain ranges, the cost of infrastructure and the fact nobody wants to bear those costs. Anyone can purchase internet anywhere for the most part but people dont want to pay what the cost would be for that service. Corps cant afford to run fiber through the entire continent or build cell towers to transmit signal, the costs are huge and the payback for private corps is very long, not worth the cost. So the government has to step in and foot the tab and that means the taxpayer is paying...that is how it works.

Most economists believe immigrants as workers, consumers and tax payers are positive for US economy in the long term.
Without foreign labor, agriculture and other industries would crash because Americans don't want to do low paying hard work. Better to regulate legal immigration instead of a black market.
