Your uncle was forced to join the union at first then became accostomed to the compensation and lifestyle. I just asked you a question that you evaded again. If you work at a company for a while you will be making more than the person that has been working their less time. Of course there are special circumstances like 20 year janitors working at major firms and how they will not be making more than the a 5 year business analyst etc....

But private schools do not need to be unionzied because they don't follow the same rules as all of the other public schools in that district. Why do you think you pay more to go a private school as opposed to a public school. This is a concept that a high schooler would grasp, the idea of privatization.

I honestly believe some of you would get your rocks off if companies could pay people like they pay people over seas. Why i dont know. Probably some of you are so mad at your own lives, you dont want anybody else to make more then you make.

Business needs workers just like workers need businesses. Both go hand in hand. Some of you have been so brain washed by the union stories that you can no longer think for yourselves. When I worked at Alcoa...after you got through with the breaking in period you got paid according to the job you performed not how long you worked there. If you'd been there 20 years and getting paid low on the scale then you were not ambitious. There is nothing wrong with that system and it actually gives incentives to be ambitious. The union system gives little incentive for production or ambition the way the better system does.

Your anti company talking points are not valid at all. I have many friends working at that former Alcoa plant that make 50k per year + great benefits. They didn't need the union to get that for them and the company knows better than to decrease wages.

If they decrease wages the employees will go work for a company that will pay them what the market can bear.

They are not union, they produce about 90 million in aluminum products every year. They pay their employees a very fair wage that is not artificially inflated by unions, rather what the market can bear. Even in good times they had a surplus of 50 applications to choose from at any given time.

If you look at the steel industry...steel is very cheap compared to aluminum and US steel mills are few and far between these days. Profit margins should be very competitive yet I wonder why those steel mills dropped like flies

well it appears the wages the market can bear is what the companies are paying the people over seas to make their products, since they moved the jobs there. So using your theory of what the market can bear, workers over here will have to accept the kinds of wages that are being paid over seas

Heres a news flash for you, all these so called over paid union workers {according to you, who is an expert in wages} could tell their companies they will work for 8 bucks an hour and guess what the companies still wont bring the jobs back here, when they can get away paying slave wages in other countries.  So really stop blaming this on unions, because this is the greedy corporations fault.
