These are not my own words so I can not take credit. But spot on none the less.

"You voted for Trump because Clinton was going to be in Wall Street's pocket. Trump wants to repeal Dodd-Frank and eliminate the Fiduciary Rule, letting Wall Street return to its pre-2008 ways.

You voted for Trump because of Clinton's emails. The Trump administration is running its own private email server.

You voted for Trump because you thought the Clinton Foundation was "pay for play." Trump has refused to wall off his businesses from his administration, and personally profits from payments from foreign governments.

You voted for Trump because of Clinton's role in Benghazi. Trump ordered the Yemen raid without adequate intel, and tweeted about "FAKE NEWS" while Americans died as a result of his carelessness.

You voted for Trump because Clinton didn't care about "the little guy." Trump's cabinet is full of billionaires, and he took away your health insurance so he could give them a multi-million-dollar tax break.

You voted for Trump because he was going to build a wall and Mexico was going to pay for it. American consumers will pay for the wall via import tariffs.

You voted for Trump because Clinton was going to get us into a war. Trump has provoked our enemies, alienated our allies, and given ISIS a decade's worth of recruiting material.

You voted for Trump because Clinton didn't have the stamina to do the job. Trump hung up on the Australian Prime Minister during a 5pm phone call because "it was at the end of a long day and he was tired and fatigue was setting in."

You voted for Trump because foreign leaders wouldn't "respect" Clinton. Foreign leaders, both friendly and hostile, are openly mocking Trump.

You voted for Trump because Clinton lies and "he tells it like it is." Trump and his administration lie with a regularity and brazenness that can only be described as shocking.

Let's be honest about what really happened.

The reality is that you voted for Trump because you got conned. Trump is a grifter and the American people were the mark. Now that you know the score, quit insisting the con-man is on your side."

Judging the POTUS after 2 weeks in office, when his tenure is 208 weeks long seems rather premature to me.

President Trump will have some ups, and he will have some downs throughout his term ... the only certainty is that the left will react with a negative hysteria to both

You voted for Donald J. Trump, because he was the grenade that blew up the R/D establishment and most important reason....

You voted for Trump because he nominated the next Supreme Court Justice...........

This reply is 100% accurate and also 100% destructive and idiotic thinking...not just SS (I am not only calling him idiotic in his thinking but in general)..

Republicans will vote for ANYONE that furthers their cause, every single thing I have seen from people here, friends I know, people I associate with that are not friends ring identical to what SS stated here.

The rationale that you further the cause irregardless of the cost of the "cause" is very dangerous, narrow minded and completely selfish thinking.

Trump was, is and always will be a joke...he for sure is a grenade to the establishment, the problem is that the answer to a problem is not to blow it up...and that is what so many people really deep down think...that the problem needs to be destroyed first and only, that what happens next is meaningless....or maybe just not thought out by the Repub side and that is severely dangerous and quite stupid.

So yeah Trump charges like a bull as he always does, always will do...but did he really improve anything with the changes he made? It is early for sure but the issue to me is if he charges like this and does not carefully think of his decisions and HOW he will make things better, the end result will be worse. If you destroy something in place, even if it has flaws and do not improve what you destroy then you are harming the country and the "cause".

It is quite sad but also quite predictable how that political side is so focused on the agenda that they ignore the reality of that focus and the destruction of that decision. So hurrah that Trump nominates a SC justice, and ticks people off, are we really wanting someone to destroy first and think maybe never? I dont think so.

Trump will end up making enemies with the wrong people and his brash and classless approach will cause the death and harm of more Americans than Obama ever could with his approach.

I am embarrassed that Trump is our leader and that has nothing to do with political affiliation, and everything to do with what a classless, egotistical putz he is.

if you blow up the establishment but surround yourself with billionaires and goldman sachs executives, aren't you going to pretty much end up with the same thing?

I know Hugh you love to go around and find all the unfairness and left biased moderating, it is obvious and also quite idiotic.

Notice I said the way of THINKING...not the person, the way of thinking is idiotic, keep your mind focused..I know it is difficult but you can do it.

    Correct..

And I am not all that shocked at him doing that, because Obama did it, Bush and Clinton did it...the establishment is run by hedgies, banks and private money...so that does not shock me.

What shocks me is how the putz came across as different to his lemming voters, made all sorts of promises and they lapped it up. It confirms my theory about Repubs...they are not understanding the game, the system and think that the cause they desire must be forwarded and they will believe any words that come out of any candidates mouth even when it is near impossible for these words to ever remotely come close to implementation.

Trump is big biz, he is owned by big biz and he will serve big biz...because they are running the show.

no, nothing shocking about this.  completely predictable.  but is it correct to say this is more of the same when the last administration at least put some regulations on the banks and financial institution and one of the first things trump and republicans are doing is getting rid of those regulations?

Not to nitpik, but what you said was ...

"I am not only calling him idiotic in his thinking but in general"

Sounds like you were calling Slim idiotic to me.

Maybe I'm just too sensitive when it comes to those on the left, and that was not an insult

Nah you are just a whiner...you like to bust chops and break the rules and then complain about the unfairness that does not exist.

I dont think the issue is about disagreeing or debating, your problem is you make things personal and attack the person and not the issue or concept.

The way of thinking in general is idiotic...I will say it again. When the sole purpose of voting for someone is to further your cause, irregardless of the person you are voting for and the mountain of flaws and disgusting behavior, THAT is idiotic.

I was not aware that pointing out the obvious was synonymous with being an apologist.

As previously stated, I am against any ban on Muslims.
I am against a ban of everyone from Syria.
    I am pro choice.
I do not support the POTUS's stance on the aforementioned.

I believe that President Trump should not be allowed to tweet ... ever!
I believe that Trump is a narcissist to a degree which is unhealthy.
I am embarrassed that DJT is the POTUS.

With that said, I was/am still adamantly opposed to the devil that is HRC.

It sucks that those were the 2 losers that we had to choose from, but it is what it is.

Getting back to your comment, your claim that I am an apologist was based on my saying 2 weeks is not on enough to pass judgement on Trump's presidency?

Maybe it is based upon my continually pointing out how asinine that MSM and the leftists have been in anything having to do with Trump?

Maybe it is my pointing out that the left has become violent and unhinged in denouncing Trump?

DJ, you are the very best on this site at recalling old posts, and using someone's own words to further your argument.
Feel free to find my posts that show (without your having to spin) how I am a Trump apologist, or even a Trump supporter

Trump is the wrong type of president for a democratic country, as you mentioned he is a strong arm big ego business owner who takes a HUGE amount of risks and has failed miserably many times from taking these leveraged, gambling risks.

Trump is a dictator who lacks diplomacy and tact, he is better suited for China or Korea where he can do what he wants with no consideration for what his choice might do to the population.

There is no reason for him to blow everything up in the first two weeks of being in charge, he obviously does not understand the political process, the nature of diplomacy or the consideration of his actions for the population in general.

But clap clap clap that the Repubs think their agenda is going forward at any cost to the country.

    Whoa WSC !...

If ,that's what you say about me when I'm 100% accurate...I don't want to see what you will post toward me if I'm 100% wrong..

Nevertheless,,that is a typical example of what happens to a liberals mind when a "Trump Grenade" enters it......they have a melt down, attack you and put you down........

This is the exact type of thinking ,that we are seeing with the protest in the streets and colleges today ..If you don't agree with our way of thinking ..You are idiotic..............Nice..

I said the way of thinking is idiotic, yes I said that and I will keep saying that...I did not say as a person you are, just this way of thinking.

Anyone who does not consider the qualities of the individual they are voting for and their disgusting behavior, rather only that their political agenda is going forward...that way of thinking is idiotic.

I would not vote for anyone on either side that has been abusive and disgusting as Trump has...I cannot support the person even if my agenda is stalled and cannot go forward.

Read SS...I know you can do it.

WSC,I won't slam you back by saying you can't read ,,but I do question your comprehension.

I did not post that those were my reasons for voting for President Trump ...so you do not know what my thinking is on why I did..

In post #3  I used the generic "YOU "as was used by the anonymous cut & paste author posted by the OP ...to show other important reasons "YOU" voted for President Trump..nothing more.

I didn't post what I personally thought was the reason..only what  I felt the anonymous author missed..

    Very slippery as usual SS...

So lets here what you think...I do seem to recall you were in support of Trump, or did you take a position at all?

Anyone who supports Trump falls squarely into what I stated, so lets see if you can slip out of this one..

    Very slippery?....   I see.

I can't even give an honest answer without you putting me in a negative light...and cutting me.  Now,, you want to hear what I think ..you needed to ask that question to start with...so I'll pass on giving you my position since you have already put me in a box and labeled me..
