Planned parenthood offers a variety of services other than abortion just like Obama does far more than just cover indigent citizens with insurance... But the lemmings don't know better and they literally want to throw the baby out with the bath water...
But for wacko nutjob lemmings the reality and rational perspective means nothing and instead black and white emotional rhetoric dominates...
As someone who is anti-abortion I would want planned parenthood to be further developed and scrutinized in its practices.. This could be some type of oversight, quality assurance, better policies to govern the clinics and transparency...
Trying to make logical improvements and changes rather than throwing an emotional temper tantrum wanting it closed and essentially "throwing the baby out with the bath water"...
Hopefully a rational and logical perspective on the Actual details of reality for improvement this will curb the violence and shooting associated with it also...
War on women
War on contraception
War on medicine

Plan Parenthood is like Hezbollah...United States classifies Hezbollah as a terrorist organisation...the US blames the group for a 1983 truck bombing that killed 241 US
marines in Beirut. It also accuses Hezbollah of being behind a series of
kidnappings of US nationals in Lebanon in the late 1980s....
Hezbollah... boasts an
extensive social development program. Hezbollah has a highly organized system of health and social-service
organizations.. the group currently operates at
least four hospitals and12 clinics...But,, this Social Unit is an umbrella for Jihad recruitment..and other evil deeds.,,just like Planned Parenthood..

This topic is interesting because it speaks volumes about how people vote and react based on their personal preferences rather than supporting what is law and gives more freedoms to individuals.
Do I personally agree with abortion? In most cases no it is not my choice of action, but that is where my beliefs and opinions stay, in my house and with me.
Until the court changes the law, abortion is legal here in general and for society that fact supercedes my personal views, but it does not mean I cannot HAVE my personal views rather I cannot force them on others and vote accordingly.
Planned Parenthood does many good things and is also lacking in some areas, but until the law is changed I will support the right of women to choose for themselves even if that choice might not be in agreement with my PERSONAL opinion.
One other thing...the flipside of legal abortion is ugly...backroom abortions kill unborn and often times mother...and the foster system in this country (and most) is HORRIBLE...it is atrocious and disgusting. The abuses and neglect that come from the foster system is abhorrent and in my opinion the foster system is flawed beyond repair because we are not willing as a society to fund it and make it a priority...and in the process millions of kids have and will be neglected and harmed.

Very reasonable analogy. I have personal experiences that corroborate the ugliness of the foster care system. I stuck my nose in on one foster teen and quickly realized I was in over my head.
Seems to me that the problem is big enough that we could have a mandatory, semester long class in high school. I'm sure we could replace some obsolete curriculum. Maybe we need to have 3 or 4 school years to really drive all aspects of parenting home.
