Who gives a fuck what the medical report says? Medical reports are pointless bullshit. I believe the 911 tape tells the entire story and I believe detective Chris Serino and my cop friend have the knowledge experience to say what happened.
The lead homicide detective probing the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin wanted the Florida neighborhood watch volunteer slapped with manslaughter charges from the get-go.
Investigator Chris Serino, of the Sanford Police Department, expressed doubt in George Zimmerman’s account of how the shooting went down.
Serino wanted Zimmerman, 28, tossed behind bars, but the state Attorney’s Office said that there was not enough evidence to make an arrest.
In an affidavit taken the night of the Feb. 26 killing, Serino stated he was unconvinced by Zimmerman’s version of events in which he claimed self-defense.
I guess you know more than detective Chris Serino and a 25 + year police veteran who has worked in four different departments and has been Armed security, Corporal, Detective, Sergeant, Enforcement, and Lieutenant.
Hmmm.....maybe the state attorney might be on to something.

Otherwise, anyone who's gettin beat up bad in a fight could just pull out a gun & kill the guy without a 2nd thought if he wanted to. Whether he provoked or started it or not -
Who knows. If Trayvon would have let up once he knocked him to the ground he may be alive today. I would presume as well that getting your head pounded into the pavement might be very frightening as well.
How many people would NOT feel their life is threatened when their head bangs repeatedly up agianst the pavement.

Nope all it says is the evidence they have isn't enough. My Lieutenant friend says it once took him 2 years to get a person he knew was guilty in jail for a drive by shooting. He took the case to the DA and the DA said there wasn't enough evidence.
He took the case to the FBI and they were able to get a confession after 14 interrogations. That's why he tells me that the FBI will get the job done eventually. At least we hope the FBI gets it done.

Do you have enough integrity to change your stance if medical evidence backs up Zimmermans claim?
If not, why?

We believe that it doesn’t matter what the medical records say because no one is saying Martin didn’t kick his ass and drive his head into the ground. We believe he killed Martin because he was a fuckin box that didn’t know how to fight.
I believe that detective Chris Serino thinks Zimmerman was the aggressor and went for his weapon or lunged his direction or threw a punch and missed and Martin kicked his ass.
I believe detective Chris Serino and my 25 + year police veteran friend are right. I trust their instincts. He says detective work is based upon instincts. They are human lie detectors. There is a reason detective Chris Serino doesn’t believe Zimmerman.

Instincts?
What a bunch of horseshit.
Anyone that would wish a persons freedoms taken away because of his instincts or projections is Un-American and should not be allowed to possess a badge.
Sorry to hear that you like to hang around some shady people. Fitting that the shady people like to hang around you!

Dead men tell no tales. The "evidence" in the case that works against Zimmerman, can mostly be explained away, and the only eye witness corroborates Zimmerman's claims.
he will most likely walk.
I think I am done with this debate though.
I truly do not want to come off as if I am defending Zimmerman. I think that in my zealous desire to play devils advocate, I have crossed a line into defending this guy. Not my intention.
I still think that given the Florida law, the lack of evidence, and general haziness of the story, this guy walks, and we get to deal with a large scale riot as a result of the media hyping it up.

This case that I mentioned in this post was solved with instincts. All the Lieutenant had was a small child's statement that she saw a man in a black car with loud music shoot into the house.
He was in his patrol car and just happened to see a black car with loud music drive by. He took down the plates. Keep in mind this was months after the shooting took place. He took his case to the DA and was denied.
Went to the FBI with his reasons and the man confessed and was found guilty and was sentenced to 20 to life for a drive by shooting after 14 interrogations.
He has a ton of arrests under his belt. People have this idea that detectives have to have concrete evidence in order to prosecute someone. That's simply not the case. All they need in motive and to paint a picture and a small amount of physical evidence.
In this case Zimmerman's own mouth is what has gotten him into trouble and is why cops think he's guilty. The 911 call and his story of what happened is what will be his downfall. The FBI I hope will get him to confess.

Im not asking for concrete evidence. Im asking for any HINT of evidence.
Medical evidence of a broken nose and/or lacerations on the back of his head is substantial in corroborating Zimmermans story and yet you would still choose to ignore that and try to squeese a murder out of a 911 call that was considerably before the confrontation.
The fact that you get so mad you call me a racist speaks volumes. All I have ever done is say show me evidence that corroborates your theory....and you have not done that at all. I'm a racist because I want evidence? Thats bullshit and you know it.

How anyone could hear the 911 tape and believe Zimmerman's account is beyond me. How people could stand behind Zimmerman's account is beyond me?
Zimmerman incriminates himself on the 911 tape and incriminates himself while talking to police. Why did the detective believe Zimmerman was guilty and create the affidavit?
Post 119 is the evidence and tells the story of what appears to have
happened. I get mad because I believe that if Zimmerman was black and
Martin was white there would be no argument or controversy and wouldn't
be 10 threads defending the black shooter.
Zimmerman's story is a joke and all the evidence we have tells the story and if Zimmerman was black and Martin was black this wouldn't even be news. This became a story because people thought Zimmerman was white and the the person that was killed was black.
The story of a white hero vigilante taking a black kids life for acting suspicious made every white person jizz in their pants. Now that they know Zimmerman is half and half doesn't matter because a black kid was killed and one less black kid on the street wearing a hoodie is a good thing in republicans eyes.

What did he say exactly that incriminates him? Did he say he was about to go shoot someone?
I didn't hear him say anything incriminating.

Its too bad that racial events years ago affect how we feel about this nowadays. I certainly don't want to rush to judgment on somebody because some bad shit happened long ago.
And I do wish to encourage that evidence be the deciding factor in any case regardless of race.
Were looking at a bad place if we don't look at evidence over perception and projections. Only a fool would want perception to rule over evidence!
The 911 call and things said are virtually irrelevent in this case. Just because some parrot keeps repeating it, doesn't make it more relevent.

A, B, C, and D is even to difficult for you.The Lieutenant over my shoulder tells
me you are the reason why not everyone is selected for jury duty and not
everyone is smart enough to be a cop.
It's OK though my grandfather only made it to 5th grade also.
CD warned me and I didn’t listen. Shake my head, rub my eyes, and sigh. I need a drink.

You think I'm gonna let a retired mall cop influence my reasoning and rational thought? Hell no.
How many people on covers to you even have on your side? 2 maybe 3
Does your mall cop friend throw the racist card out like its no big deal as you do?
I'm the only one of us with enough integrity to change my stance if evidence dictates. You are a stubborn POS that has no chance of ever loosing that charactoristic.
A. No crime committed.
B. No crime committed.
C. No crime committed.
D. Laying on of hands.
E. Justified defense from D.
I don't want to hear about your profiling mall cop anymore. It takes away any hope I have for our Good cops that follow proper evidence trails and don't wish to lock people up based on hunches and false projections.
I'll be more than happy to hear your cop stories that represent:
Innocent until proven guilty.
Only the facts!
Only what we can prove!

How do you draft a law that properly allows people to defend themself or others from death or 'serious bodily harm/injury' that is fair and more suitable than what we have now?
How does a rape victim or murder victim know what the intent is of the attacker? Would you have her ask him if he just wants her purse? Or what?
How do you propose it to be legal and airtight?

i agree, no need to defend the dude. anytime i see al sharpton i wanna do the opposite but the vigilante type behavior should not be endorsed unless real crimes are happening. time may tell but who lnows

Ok money. I'll take a guy who has a dog in the fight over a box retired, dumb ass mall cop any day.
Joe Oliver is willing to defend Zimmerman to the point of risking his own job/life for what he believes is right.
Im very glad that I'm on the side that doesn't threaten peoples lives for telling us what they believe in their heart.

There is no way to make anything perfect or ideal & airtight when it comes to crime & human behaviour. Our system of justice is imperfect but it's the best we have. Innocent folks are convicted & guilty 1's go free every day. In this case, there are more than enough known elements & factors (from beginning to end) to fully justify a manslaughter charge & it's the only way to get it before a jury. And you seem to be forgetting that in our system he is still innocent before proven guilty.
The only "evidence" (Z having a bloody or broken nose & there being some blood on the back of his head) you have given that seems to be why you think there shouldn't even be an arrest/charge, in itself does not prove anything in terms of how the fight started. And you keep saying there is no evidence that Z committed a crime or did anything wrong. Yes there is...a dead body of a kid that he admittedly shot. That is called murder or manslaughter & is a capital crime & there is no evidence whatsoever that shows that Martin attacked Zimmerman initially. But you seem to think the cops should just take the killers word for everything & let him go despite all the other factors involved from the start of the situation. Makes no sense...

You mention innocent until proven guilty yet refer to him as a killer.
And you keep forgetting that it doesn't matter who started the fight. It matters who escalated it from a stare down to a beating.
If by chance Zimmerman is telling the truth...there is no murder or manslaughter. Its that simple.

Good, then let the jury determine that. Because there's no evidence that shows who escalated it & it's Z that has the burden of proof that it was self defense. And "killer" was only meant in the sense that he's the one that killed him -

Cashin, how can you say that and reconcile with yourself?
You know there is evidence that Trayvon knocked Zimmerman to the ground. I don't care how much Woop paints you as a good guy. You are being outright dishonest here...just the same as moneysrh is. I cant respect that at all.
I can't stand it when people just outright lie like that out of stubburness. Its quite obvious for you and money that you can't be objective or truthful about the case.
Jury's don't always get things right and we both know it. Especially in the highest profile case we've ever seen. Where are you gonna find 15 people that aren't:
A. Unbiased
B. Unbiased
C. Unbiased
?
Based on the fact that Jurys are unpredictable and wrong....its the investigators duty to make sure they don't send frivilous cases before the jury.
Ironically, You probably didn't fret as much over Casey Anthonys case as much as you will fret over this one.

There is no way to make anything perfect or ideal & airtight when it comes to crime & human behaviour. Our system of justice is imperfect but it's the best we have. Innocent folks are convicted & guilty 1's go free every day. If the FBI gets him in a room Zimmerman will break. There is no evidence to support Zimmerman’s account because a punch to the nose doesn’t prove who was at fault. The FBI is going to grill Zimmerman with his 911 call because it tells the entire story of what happened. The 911 tape is concrete evidence. Zimmerman’s story is just that a story because there is NO tape of his story. The FBI has motive, prelude, and Zimmerman’s own words to use against him. The FBI will ask him why he didn’t follow the emergency dispatchers orders. The FBI will ask him why he said on the 911 tape that Martin was running towards the back entrance and how Martin and him came across each other if Martin was headed in the opposite direction. The FBI will ask him why did he lose sight of a potentially dangerous person on drugs that he perceived as a threat. I wish I could see the FBI interrogators when they get Zimmerman in a room. He’s going to crack because you have to be on crack to believe his story.

If the FBI gets him in a room Zimmerman will break....... Z will have a lawyer, the lawyer would only allow his client to say only so much
There is no evidence to support Zimmerman’s account because a punch to the nose doesn’t prove who was at fault...... Fault really isnt an issue here. Even if Z came up to him and called him the N word, if an altercation took place where Z felt in fear of his life, he under Florida law is allowed to use deadly force

Zimmerman’s story is just that a story because there is NO tape of his story. The FBI has motive, prelude, and Zimmerman’s own words to use against him. The FBI will ask him why he didn’t follow the emergency dispatchers orders.... As far as I know " failure to obey the lawful order of a police officer" does not apply to dispatchers. This and again, certainly there is no dispute if Z had stayed inside, this innocent kid would be alive, but once it escalated to a fight where both were fighting for their lives, Z was justified in using deadly force
The FBI will ask him why he said on the 911 tape that Martin was running towards the back entrance and how Martin and him came across each other if Martin was headed in the opposite direction.... If the evidence shows a fight between the 2, Why does this matter. All that matters is the 2 had a serious fight
The FBI will ask him why did he lose sight of a potentially dangerous person on drugs that he perceived as a threat.... Z isnt a K-9
I wish I could see the FBI interrogators when they get Zimmerman in a room. He’s going to crack because you have to be on crack to believe his story.... Again, Z would have an atty, and why would this be an FBI investigation anyway

Money, plz allow me to debate your points.

@#150 Otherwise, anyone who's gettin beat up bad in a fight could just pull out a gun & kill the guy without a 2nd thought if he wanted to. Whether he provoked or started it or not -
It happens all the time when a "battered spouse" kills a husband who was beating on her. She cant kill him a month, a day or an hour later, but only at the time she was in fear of her life
